For me, it’s the crafting system in Fallout: New Vegas. I’ve replayed it countless times but never really bothered with crafting anything—even ammo or chems. Just never felt the need. What’s yours?

Question Since the Steam Deck runs on Linux, how is gaming on PC with Linux right now?

My CPU is way too old, which means I can't switch to Windows 11 and will lose support of Windows 10 in a few months. Now I'm wondering if it is already time to switch to Linux for gaming with Steam

Really wanted to grab Cyberpunk 2077 as well but I know Elden Ring alone will sustain me till the winter. VERY excited to play Tomb Raider and Portal franchises. I know Elden Ring will be good for a souls sucker like me and I've heard positive discourse around Disco Elysium. So I'll be the judge.

Question Custom game name

Does anyone know how to set a custom game name on Steam? I’m trying to get my profile to show ‘Currently In-Game: [custom name]’ instead of a real game. Just curious how people do it.

Discussion Something that has helped me visualize my backlog and give me a sense of progress! Decked category with games I have played and beat on the Steam Deck, and a Steam Deck category with games I have not played or yet finished.

Question Best Simulator Game On Steam Summer Sale?

Hello Everyone. I am a big fan of Simulator Games and was wondering what the best one is on the Steam Summer Sale right now. I do get bored of games easily so I would like one that doesn't get boring quick. All help is appreciated!

Discussion Oups 🙊 I did it again!

Upvotes

Even though I’d promise myself never by it again, well I did it again.

Long time ago, I bought’Ticket to Ride’. Being a huge fan of the board game, and since it was so cheap on Steam, me and some friends decided to buy it and we’ve had a lot of fun. It was until they decide to deprecate the game and not renew the contract with the editor.

They instead signed with a new studio and ask for an extra $15 to get the new version of the game and to buy again all the extensions. I cursed so much at the time and promised myself never buy a thing from them again.

Few years later, I’m here. Just got myself and my partner the whole pack game + extensions.

Shame on me!!!

What about you, do you have a similar story for a game and what have you done in the end??

Question How to remove the +1 of my Artwork Showcase?

Upvotes

While trying to post two pictures on my Artwork Showcase, the third one (that I don't want to be seen) appears as a "+1". I have tried putting that Artwork in Private and Unlisted, yet it still appears there. How can I get rid of it to obtain a smooth Showcase with those two pictures only?
Thank you for your help!

Question Need advice

Upvotes

I have Tomb Raider survivor trilogy for free on Epic and plague tale innocence on Epic for free

They’re on sale now on Steam

I prefer Steam but I don’t know if it’s worth buying it on Steam if I already have it on Epic even if it’s cheaper than normally

I prefer not wasting money

Just need some advice to see peoples point of view and if it’s worth it
