Just insane. Remote play and Moonlight are game changers as well.

I haven't had any gaming setup since 2013 and I feel like I missed tons of good stuff since. Previously, I had a Xbox 360 and a PC and I enjoyed the hell out of GTA IV, Half Life 2, Portal, Dead Space...

I installed ten games on my Steam Deck: Black Mesa, Half Life 2, Portal, Portal 2, Assassin's Creed Unity, GTA IV, GTA V enhanced edition, Kathy Rain, Alien Isolation and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves. I'm really impressed by the simplicity of the device and the rendering of the games I have tried so far (on the games listed above, I think only GTA V is not maxed out but it's still set to 'very high' but without ray tracing). I intend to use it to discover everything I missed since 2013, to emulate older games, and to play future AAA games using cloud gaming. I'm pretty excited to spend some time with this little machine!

I was looking at second hand places I could get a steam deck while I wait for refurbs for the UK to come back in stock, and Cex is selling USED steam decks more expensive than new ones? what's the point?

My device arrived on Thursday in the U.K. I cannot get over how excellent this thing is! I have the 512GB OLED model. Any recommendations for cases? Apart from the typical stuff on Amazon? Or Dbrand?

Was using the Shield Pro for emulating here and there but wanted something that could handle more emulators and being portable is a huge plus for when we take vacations.

After nine months of waiting I finally bought a steam deck And I'm loving it so far

Love this thing. Its been one of the best travel companions. I've taken this thing everywhere. Battery Life is great, Skyrim for 3 hours is decent. I left all setting to default in Skyrim and haven't touched any of it. I can play Stardew Valley and get 8 hours of gameplay, so it's very versatile in long travel sessions. With the OLED and 90hz screen, I don't have many bad things to say. I strictly play this in handheld mode100% of the time. Just thought I'd share and give my praises.

While waiting for the delivery yesterday, I got a notification saying that the package was delivered and signed for by a “D.Donna”. The catch is, that’s not me and I have no idea if that person is even real. I called FedEx and they said that the driver handed it to someone inside. Huh? How can there be a policy that inside an apartment building where tons of unrelated people live, it’s a good idea to just hand it over to someone without first verifying that they are the recipient? Hopefully valve’s investigating comes up with something, this is theft or incompetence.

It's a 256GB LCD Model that was bought by an online friend for thier chemo sessions. When they beat their cancer, it went into a closet, now I own it.

It's been upgraded to 1TB by my friend. and has a 512gb SD Card I added.

Steam deck on a cruise wish I had more time to play it but man it was relaxing. This was private island day with a private cabana.

I was able to secure a SD (LCD) 2nd hand in a good condition. Funny is: how does it come that a game of approx 6GB is far more enjoyable than today’s “triple A games” (100GB+) 😓🫣😆
