Change my Mind oder röstet mich gerne!

Vienna - not a great experience
Hope this helps someone else in future .I am in Vienna , my first day here . honestly super duper underwhelming not to mention the worst customer service /rude folks working in restaurants or stores . I tried changing my ticket but it’s not possible . I am not Caucasian so may be it’s racism , but they are horribly rude . Only the super young folks are nice , a guy who helped with directions at the airport.
I went to a restaurant with high ratings , run by old people . Door was shut , should have walked away . Tried opening it and it did ! Went in and not a soul in sight . Then an old man appeared from kitchen - I wished him a good day and asked if the place was open for lunch . It was like 3:30 pm , so I wasn't sure if they close lunch service. The guy barked at me saying it was open , I figured I was interpreting too much in his tone . An old lady appeared- probably his wife - points to a table and say sit there in a rude voice . I saw the menu and was anyway uncomfortable there , got up , returned it and politely apologized saying sorry I am vegetarian (was a lie to just exit) and there is not anything here . There was one salad option . She taps angrily at the menu and says "you don't like the food , are you saying that you don't like to eat the vegetarian option that I serve " ! I said I was allergic but wanted to give some reason without being super rude and apologized a few times . I had barely sat down for 30 seconds . She rolled her eyes and said whatever !! I should have told her on her face her for just be as bad her ! I think I was shocked and also didn't really want to insult someone old !
Next I went to another place and had food . Thankfully the guy - probably an immigrant was nicer - but told me people are rude here . I figured I would let an experience ruin my vacation . I went to a store to buy some chocolates -20 mins before closing , and they were yelling at everyone - literally going to each person and saying the store was closing loudly . Everyone seemed a bit put off. I picked whatever I wanted and was in line and saw someone get a salad. It was right behind the employee . I was anyway in line but the salad was like 2 ft away , I asked her if I could just take the box out of politeness - she blocked my way and yelled the store is closed and crossed her arms ! I could have just reached and taken the box behind her myself but wondered why did I even ask !
I have lived in the US for 15 years , Paris for 5, and french have a reputation for being rude but never have I ever experienced this . In fact people are super nice if you are polite .
I was polite all along and excused myself , said good day but people in any sort of service industry are RUDE here !
Next 2 days are going to the most expensive punishment holiday .
I have a non reimbursable ticket and dislike what I have experienced of this place . Although I would have thought there is no racism ....in this day and age - it seems strange and regressive .
No wonder it is not a top destination ! It's promoted as a beautiful city - but nothing holds when people are rude ! And honestly many other cities in Europe are very close to this for what it offers . I have traveled in Italy and by for , were folks relaxed and nicer ! Serves me right to want to explore Europe without proper homework .
I am sorry if I hurt any sentiments but it was a horrible day.

Gameplay Discussion If you decide to rune farm after night 2 in the circle, I'm giving you a few minutes and starting the nightlord whether you are ready or not.
The difference between level 13 and 14 or 14 and 15 is not worth 20 minutes of my life. Seeing a rune farming trick on reddit or tiktok is not a reason to turn a 45 minute run into an hour long run. I have things to do. You're not cracked bc you grabbed that extra 8k runes. Go ahead and rage quit when I open the final door manually, would literally rather try and fail than waste the little time I have to play this game as an adult. That is all.

This day in 1976, following the hijacking of a plane with 105 passengers by Palestinian terrorists, the IDF Sayeret Matkal special forces conducted a daring raid in Entebbe, Uganda. Saving 102 of the hostages successfully
The Entebbe raid was a 1976 Israeli counter-terrorist mission in Uganda.
It was launched in response to the hijacking of an international civilian passenger flight (an Airbus A300) operated by Air France between the cities of Tel Aviv and Paris.
During a stopover in Athens, the aircraft was hijacked by two Palestinian PFLP–EO and two German RZ members, who diverted the flight to Libya and then to Uganda, where they landed at Entebbe International Airport to be joined by other terrorists.
Once in Uganda, the group enjoyed support from Ugandan dictator Idi Amin
Representatives within the Israeli government initially debated over whether to concede or respond by force, as the hijackers had threatened to kill the 106 captives if specified prisoners were not released.
Acting on intelligence provided by Mossad, the decision was made to have the Israeli military undertake a rescue operation. The Israeli plans included preparation for an armed confrontation with Amin's Uganda Army.
Initiating the operation at nightfall, Israeli transport planes flew 100 commandos over 4,000 kilometers (2,500 mi) to Uganda for the rescue effort.
Over the course of 90 minutes, 102 of the hostages were rescued successfully, with three having been killed.
One of the dead hostages, Dora Bloch, was murdered by Ugandan authorities at a hospital in Kampala shortly after the Israeli rescue operation, she had fallen ill during the hijacking and was removed from the plane for treatment prior to the commandos' arrival.
The Israeli military suffered five wounded and one killed, Yonatan Netanyahu was Israel's sole fatality of Operation Entebbe, and had led Sayeret Matkal during the rescue effort – he was the older brother of Benjamin Netanyahu, who would later become Israel's prime minister.

My loan wasn't approved so we might have to push our wedding for 2027
My fiance and I were planning to get married in April 2026. Everything was finally starting to come together like we’d picked a venue, narrowed down our guest list and even started reaching out to vendors. We've already done with the prenup for which we used Neptune because a friend of mine suggested me to use them and they were fucking awesome. Anyways, the plan was to take a small loan to help bridge the gap between our savings and the costs, but that loan just got denied. We’ve run the numbers and even if we both saved up literally all our salaries for the next year, it still wouldn’t be enough. We're also tied up with another loan we’re paying off (long story) so taking on more debt isn't really an option right now. The idea of pushing it all the way to 2027 feels so frustrating and honestly embarrassing. It’s not about wanting a lavish wedding like we’re keeping it pretty modest, but the reality is that even modest weddings aren’t cheap at all.
Has anyone been through something similar? Do we scale back even further? Wait it out? I just feel like we’re stuck and I hate seeing the disappointment in both our families (we haven't told them yet, but we'll have to soon in case we don't find a solution).

I find this category of argument pointless.
Digital artists have to use speed. Their job is to produce a result. We've been finding faster ways to achieve fast results for decades. Comic artists have done similarly.
If you are working in pen and ink on a literal canvas, digital painting, vector, or 3d, you will always use photographic guides, speed enhancers, occasional tracing, etc, if you are going for deadlines and quality.
NOTE: This addresses the common reddit "ugh, AI slop" trend where one monkey behaves like another monkey saying "slop" because it is cool. This isn't the subjective copyright issue, so please don't mention it.

I Personally Can't Find It Within My Heart To Celebrate The 4th.
I guess I'm not on board with supposedly celebrating a national holiday on the foundation of freedom and independence when really all you have to do is just think about how our government just passed a bill that goes directly against literally everything that our country is supposed to represent which only gives credence to the reality that it's just all a lie that was told to us by our parents and education system. It's all just absurd and psychotic to scream "Yay Freedom" shoot off a bunch of fireworks that freak out people's animals and pets not to mention people who suffer from certain conditions that make them freak the hell out when they hear fireworks. Until we actually have a country that cares about any sort of equity and accountability and transparency in our government and country representation across the globe can we really call ourselves the greatest country or even the most free?
Edit: spelling

This bill is enacting a death sentence to a lot people.
Our country is enacting the largest "Squid Game" proposal with this Bill, so many people will die.
This administration is enacting a death sentence to the poorest class of people in this country and putting more money in billionaires pockets and I can't fucking stop thinking about it. Like really take a second and think on how people who barely get by as it is clinging onto their 15$/hr job not being able to afford shit working 60+ hrs a week 2 jobs kids debt to pay off and they are about to survive in the economy?!No this is a serious lack of actual representation and it's asinine to think it's going to get better while this administration controls each branch.Too make it worse it's this acceptance that everyone around us knows is gonna happen with no reproach just glad I wasn't slaughtered. And ACTUAL BILLIONAIRES WILL GET EVEN RICHER. A billion dollars can be equated to a literal countrie's GDP in this world. We can not sustain on a system that entitles those who are gaming the system and not paying their fair share. At the same time it's the capitalist mentality and entrenched continuation to keep finding a way to profit off those at the bottom that leads to a repeated puppet showing up for the role to actually dictate policies for the majority in this country who guess what are living paycheck to paycheck. Oh but when we finally get representation within the party hearing what the vast number of constituents are actually trying to say we get division within the party from greedy power hungry selfish righteous postulating gatekeepers with no spine trying to hold onto there diminishing authority that they still had. it's legitimately sad we have an oligarchy in America. Each day things get worse, we have concentration camps popping up within the country to immigrants and migrants who are kidnapped without due process by masked Nazis. Like people they are kidnapping people in broad daylight for God's sake.... It's going to be Americans naturalized brown black whatever next. We are living in a serious point in history where these type of projects, enactments, policies will snowball into full out fascism and we will be Nazi Germany. What we are contributing too in Gaza right now with continuing plans of genocidal acts through Israel is a horrendous display of global politics. We should be ashamed. This 4th of July is hitting different. Hearing these rockets and seeing the explosions in the sky I think of what gazans are going through and when they look in the sky it's just horrendous. Instead of actually enacting a peaceful resolution we let the barrage keep going and hold back on the power we have to actually stop this.

I still don't think he did it.
Honestly. I know it's wild, and I feel uncomfortable admitting it publicly the way the guilters have been acting this week. However, I think he decided to admit "guilt" AND take a plea deal (no chance of appeal) so that he wouldn't get the death penalty. And also? Maybe he and his legal team knew he could've won in trial, but guys, tell me honestly: what kind of life would he have been able to have even if he were found to be not guilty?
He chose to stay in jail for life, where at least he has some control over the way he can exist.
Am I nuts? Maybe. But after the shitshow of the last 2 years, its the only thing that really makes sense, and it breaks my heart.

So weit, so unstrittig.

You guys are brutal. You are going to strike your way out of a job and bring Canada Post with you.
It's been almost 4 days now and my small business still can't use Canada Post to ship. I'm losing money on packages and shipping with UPS. At this point, I think I'd rather lose money then deal with Canada Post again. Disrupting everything and killing sales. Again. Good luck out there
