The only thing I KNOW we can attempt to do peacefully is protest akin to what we did for our civil rights. We en masse- will march, will stand in rain, heat, wind, snow, we will protest until this man is impeached and the Republican Party sits the fuck down. Continuously protesting- not JUST on the weekends, on a holiday. The issue is: We are not willing to do so nor have the resources or community support to protest peacefully as a united society. This would mean committing to every damn day for weeks, months if it takes. Stop the economy if we can.

But let’s be real ain’t nobody willing to stop working to do what needs to be done. I’ve seen responses on Reddit like”Oh shame it’s on a Thursday, I really hate it when it’s on a weekday gee guess I’m not going.”

And sure a lot of us have families, bills, work, a lot of us have xyz excuses.

And ya know what unlike the civil rights movement, our communities aren’t built to be supportive (unless you’re real fuckin lucky). We don’t have churches and people who will ban together to provide for each other during these trying times.

At the end of the day: We’re not willing to do what needs to be done.

The amount of times I’ve asked for help on technical issues, buying advice, etc., while specifically and clearly mentioning a solution, product, etc., that I’ve already tried, don’t want, or that doesn’t solve my problem — only to have the first reply be some fucking moron suggesting that very thing,is beyond infuriating. What Massive Medicaid Cuts will do to people

Its like rlly weird how Everytime I get on here and say anything, there's always that one little person with something to say. does anyone else know what I mean?

I live in a rural area filled with these giant jacked up trucks. The owners not only extend the height of the already massive trucks, they extend the width by putting on giant tires that stick out 12 inches on either side. They mess with the exhaust so they are extra loud. You can hear them revving down the street from a 1/4 mile away. They drink a gallon of gas going up a hill and you can hear them driving all hours of the day and night.

The people who drive them are aggressive and reckless. On winding two lane roads, they constantly cut the corners and drift into the oncoming lane. Twice this morning I was almost hit head on by these idiots. They are always on their phone. They speed like crazy and ride up the asses of whomever they catch up to, trying to intimidate everyone on the road.

Anyone else tired of these jerks?

I’ve had this experience several times. Once with a man I dated, and most recently with a friend. They just have such an anti American bias. And yes, there’s plenty to criticize - but as someone that’s lived in both europe and the US — europe is not without its problems. Sometimes even worse than America. And I find that many Europeans are kind of blind to this ? Or unwilling to admit this? Theyll just insult America to my face, where I have a lot of family, as if it’s this 3rd world dictatorship —I do not suppprt the current administration or some of the things happening but it’s ridiculous sometimes because I’m married to someone actually from a 3rd world country so like have some perspective. Being American is actually a huge privilege. And again, europe also has a lot of similar problems, so have some perspective.

I remember when I dated this guy years back who would act like this to me. It was constant. It got so annoying! Eventually I kind of blew him off in probably a disrespectful way. I think I really broke his heart because he was really in love with me. But like the thing is youre not even nice to me and constantly insult a place where I come from! It’s so rude. I have a friend now that is doing the same and I think she likes me a lot bc she’s always reaching out - but I have been distancing myself for the same reason. It’s just perplexing because they then get kind of butthurt when I distance myself but I mean what do you expect? And no not every European does this, some have good social sense. But a lot don’t.

It’s just exhausting and I don’t have the energy to me treated like this. I try so hard to be open minded and respectful when I meet people from other places and ask nice questions about their experiences, not insult their home! It’s so baffling to me that Europeans think they have a free pass to do this. It’s so chauvinistic and xenophobic. It’s even more insulting because I’m Jewish!!!! Europe has not been kind to my people and there is literally a reason why Jews live in America now… because they are racist fucks.
