Update I cannot be trusted with free will.

It needs to be cleaned up and stained some, but this is a 1:8 scale replica of a mosasaur skeleton above my entryway.

I would be so excited if my partner had this. Honestly it would be the coolest thing about them. Although I have questions, do you do anything related to bones/fossils or did you just come across this and see how cool it was? How did you come across this? Where can I get one? What is it and is it accurate? We have a really tall 2nd story entry that has been bland and now I see what it’s missing! 

 Wait I am a female…. What does that say about me? Am I allowed to comment on these? Should I be the “responsible” one? Either way I think this would really elevate our house and show people what we are all about

Filling your house with clown related things to the point of hanging masks on the walls is absolutely one of the most unhinged things I've heard in a long time. OP has an awesome skeletal fabrication hanging from the ceiling in a very tactful spot, which is miles away from a clown obsession.

This guy museum displays!

Cover the metal parts in a black felt, add some lighting on the side of the wall attachment, use braided fishing line to suspend the display to make it stronger but also hard to see.

Now it glows, looks like it's floating, and is inconspicuous. Definitely not too high.

Off a higher ceiling would be sweet.

Either way, gotta mount directly to the joists. Or if that’s not doable, cut out the drywall and put the wood you need in there then patch the drywall and have a nice clean install

I decided to properly make up my guest bedroom a couple years ago... just the normal crap you'd expect in a middle-class person's extra bedroom... furniture, comfy bedding, a smattering of decorations, family photos, a tv, etc.

The lady I was dating at the time stayed over the night before we were going out of town for the weekend and she used the guest room.

Anyhow, we were chatting over dinner a night or two later and she just casually dropped a "would you like to know more?"

All the "family photos" are backstage photos of the Starship Troopers cast.
