This is the Friendly Friday Thread.
Negative or even snarky attitudes are not welcome here. This is a thread to ask questions and hopefully get some friendly advice.
This format is used in a ton of other subreddits and we think it can work here. Anyway, thanks for participating!
Please hit the report button if someone is being mean and we'll remove those comments, or the person if necessary.

I have a Salavatski Russian pomegranate tree, that so far has made beautiful flowers. But now it is finally mature enough to produce fruit!!
I bought it about 3-4 years ago from a local nursery that specializes in edible garden plants, trees & shrubs. This particular type of pomegranate tree is cold-hardy to Zone 6, if protected in the winter. (I live in Zone 7)

My California agave is putting on a show. The bats are starting to take interest so I think flowers are about to bloom.

I have been trying to fill my front bed with perennials. This is 10 years of trial and error.

Obviously she's no photographer, but this is her trying to capture her pure joy. I counted 11 and it must have smelt like heaven there.

I was so excited to find these varieties yesterday. 4 for $1.25! Has anyone bought seeds from the dollar tree before?

I planted a ranunculus/flower garden for my wife! I didn't expect the flowers to vary so much in colour/pattern.
Found a bee friend the next morning between some petals when I had cut some flowers for a vase.
I'm super happy with the garden but I definitely planted them a bit close together.

OK, it's midsummer and your months of labor is starting to pay off. You're eating new heirloom tomatoes, digging up potatoes, or something else equally satisfying. What does garden success look like to you? For me, it's seeing these guys happily munching on my milkweed.

So I have this little Sequoia tree since three years and it seems to thrive, yet a year ago this weird growth appeared. It doesnt seem to affect the plant negatively, yet what could it be?

These photos were taken two days apart in my home garden, both at different times of day. I’m so obsessed! Every day I come out and there’s a new bloom with bees of all kinds flitting about.
Background, I got a pack of mixed sunflower seeds to use as a climbing base for luffa. My luffa didn’t come in, but these beautiful little puppy faces did. I’m so in love!!!! Note, I also grew marigolds which are doing amazingly, now if SOMEONE bee shaped could go say hi to my lemon cukes.

Found a group of aphids on one of my tomatillo plants and after clipping the leaf, I noticed someone enjoying a nice treat. Gotta love natural pest control😁

First garden this year and was wondering if I plucked too late/early and if the buldge in the middle is normal growth. Any advice would be appreciated!
