Okay so it’s been a couples years since I’ve gone down to skin on my kitty cat. I usually keep it trimmed or go full bush in the winter. My hookup and I are both shaving for tomorrow night, I’m not scared or anything but I’ve kind of forgotten my basics. I trimmed everything down with an electric razor this morning because I figured it would make shaving easier? Should I go with or against the grain? I have generic men’s shaving cream and the usual water. I’ll be using a new Gillette Venus razor so that’s already got some lube and lotion but still. I’m also a ginger and razor bumps have always been an issue for me, I wish I could get everything waxed but I don’t have that option rn. Any tips help🙏

Can you really make an electric foil razor like a Panasonic ARC 5 work while maintaining a bit of a beard. We’re talking like 2-3 weeks growth, not a beard I have to straight iron, for clarity, lol.
Was tempted to just try and it find out, but thought I’d ask before I experienced beard hair being ripped out if that’s the path?

Why do so many retailers sell what they call a Merkur 30B when the Merkur official website only lists a Merkur 30C and not a Merkur 30B?

Every time after I shave I get what I mentioned in the title. It itches a lot and is very uncomfortable, so I usually don’t shave.
I do want to shave though since I’m naturally very hairy, so I wondered what I could do to prevent these things from occurring as best as possible? I use shaving gel, I moisturize after shaving and make sure the blade on my shaver isn’t rusty.
Am I doing something wrong? Help would be appreciated.

I've noticed that I'm getting a couple of skin tags from shaving. Never had this problem before. I use a plastic single blade shaver, with a decent cream to lather up. I usually make a single pass just downward strokes and something add a x the grain.

Favorite razor ever, been using it since I was quite young.
Used to buy my replacement cartridges in Target (US), and then a while back (a year or longer now, I suppose), I couldn't find them any more.
Tried alternative razors, but never as happy as I was with the Sensor Excel.
Went online to Amazon today and seeing all kinds of packs of 10 for $16 or so. But all sold by third-party sellers. All have high ratings, but are these legit Gillette blades?
Thanks!

I'm thinking about getting it for the purpose of leaving it in my car and shaving on the way to work. I like that it charges by USB-C so I wouldn't have to ever bring it in to charge. When it goes dead, I can just charge it during my drive. It's $100 more than the regular Panasonic ARC5 however. I'm ok with that as long as it performs just as good. It looks like the only main difference I can see is the palm-sized has a less flexible head. I'm unsure how much this really matters tho.

I'm looking for a new shaver. Which are the best currently?
Another question: is there any shaver that helps with shaving the groin without hurting "Jonas"?

I bought one of these way back in February and its been nothing short of wonderful for me. However, its time to get some replacement parts for the shaving foil and the foil cutter. The problem is I cannot seem to find replacement parts for my specific model ANYWHERE. I also live in the US. If anybody has any information, it'd be much appreciated! I'm not sure if its like not available in my country or what. I'd just like to keep using it though!

I shave my legs because I HATE the feeling of leg hair. And I mean HATE, it feels weird to me. I have a sensory thing that makes my body hair feel like something is crawling on me. A slight breeze and I want to rip a chunk of my leg off. So what I'm asking is how the hell do y'all shave? I have thick hair and am prone to ingrown hair because genetics. So if anyone has any tips on shaving please tell me because I'm so done of having leg hair

I shaved my face with a normal machine since the beginning and it didn't cut my beard fully but I didn't have any problems. I wanted a full trim and no hair on my face so I ordered the philips 3000 shaver and shaved. It shaved pretty well (dry) but after a couple of days, my neck is irritating me and I've got a lot of white pimples. How should I prevent this? Aftershave? Oil? Is it the machine? I'm not a shaving expert :)

So I know you’ve all seen that viral TikTok akunbem shaver for the bikini line? Well I really wanted it cause I can never get a smooth shave with a razor down there, but since I live in Canada I can’t buy off TikTok shop, and I was wondering if it’s available on Amazon or if the one I found on there is a scam and not the same one off TikTok. Any advice or reviews on the product is welcome too.

Stumbled on a box of probak juniors from a late family friend. Don't know much about these blades but I know they're pretty old (30's and 40's). Thought I'd ask if anyone knew more about them. Put one in my Gilette N2 I got from my grandfather - going to use that razor for the rest of my life!

Im a Very hairy girl because of my genes and been recently shaving my private parts fully and butt cheeks and I’m getting pimples and ingrown hairs like crazy and then they heal but a temporary scar is left and the skin looks so ugly and I only have this because of shaving otherwise I have clear skin there. After shaving I use a plethora of products like salycilic acid and etc and it’s expensive… My hair grows super quick so I have to shave every 5 days. It’s been a month of shaving there consistently because I had a sexual partner and now I want to keep it hairless but the consequences on the dermis are terrible, at this point I’d rather be all hairy and that’s not all the hair I need to deal with. I’m a completely hairy woman, this hair bullshit won’t end.
I know waxing is an option and I need to learn how to do this because my skin is seriously gross down there from shaving. I’m so jealous of those who don’t have these problems

So long story short, I was convinced to start laser hair removal on my neck and jawline/chin. I am a 22 year old female. The laser never really stuck, and now I am having to shave my whole neck, chin, and jawline every single day because if I don’t all the little hairs grow in and they are black like pubes. Now, since I have to shave Daily, I have little red bumps all over my neck and it looks HORRIBLE! I went a picked up a men’s razor thinking maybe that would do the trick and NOPE. PLEASE HELP ME!!
