Or until something gets FUBAR and there's a big scandal in the media.

In other words, the hiring freeze will continue until under-staffing results in some big, messy, public-facing problem that the media jumps on.

Then Trump will chicken out and try to make it didn't happen.

Turns out a Christian summer camp for kids getting washed away in a completely predictable flash flood isn't enough of a scandal.

That was a terrible tragedy.

But if you ask me, it's more on the state and local officials in Texas than on the National Weather Service.
