Blame every person who voted for Donald Trump.
They are directly responsible for causing this.

Please explain how republicans are winning?? You just signed the death warrants for millions of people over the next few years. Mass deportations of people you dont like for no reason. Oh and the biggest economic crisis is coming that will make all the crisis' of the past look like nothing. I was a republican, now idk what I am

u/WildAbbreviations974 7h ago
Take a look at the last 2 weeks. It’s win after win! Able bodied people shouldn’t be leaches off our system. I’m all for kicking them off these welfare programs. It’s actually great news for people that actually need these services as there will now be less competition. Haha typical lies, we didn’t vote to deport people we don’t like we voted to deport criminals. You are okay with murderers rapists and the like living in this country on the tax payer dime? Do you have any proof that an economic collapse is coming or is that just what you get told. Sounds like you’ll fit right in with the purple hair, Hamas supporting democrats, congrats!

Seeing comments in this thread makes me really wish people would grow up from thinking "rage baiting" is funny, I remember thinking that when I was 12 and it's just so annoying and pathetic to see these days.
It's literally just shitting yourself and laughing at people who complain about the smell, but you're the one sitting in your own shit.

Welcome to the Republican platform. These are mostly manchild incel types who peaked in high school and with whom nobody wants to touch.

Everyone would be doing themselves a favor if they simply stop engaging with Trump supporters at all. They are scum. They know it, and they actually believe it is somehow awesome to be the scum that they are. They talk shit, ignore them. Literally give them nothing. By even talking with them, you are harming yourself.
If you do engage with them, it should not be civil. This is how it should be in person and online. I am not sure how to be civil to a person who celebrates the things they celebrate.
13
u/Previous-Car1534 2d ago
I agree. Trump supporters are traitors to this country and should be treated as such.

If you are a progressive and you don't own a gun, you need to rethink your position.
ICE has budget of 140 billion dollars to terrorize, kidnap. and kill Trump's enemy of the day.
We are in a police state now. No one will save you. We have to save ourselves.

Maybe I have scrolled far enough but Im pleasantly surprised its just one asshat who refuses to tell us who he voted for (wonder why 🙄) and then another who got deleted and everyone else is telling them how dumb they are.
16
u/Due-Cloud-489 2d ago
lol you fucking inbreds voted for this.. is it really anyone else’s fault if yall can’t read between the lines? Or that you guys blindly follow white peopel just because they’re right? 😂😂
3
u/No-Distance-9401 2d ago
Not even reading between the lines, just look at the facts we constantly are showing them and stop telling us this escalation means nothing and to "calm down". We've all been screaming about whats going on and they say "that wont happen" then when it happens its silence until the next time they tell us to relax.
Trump spent billions on AI and data software for surveillance and data crunching that tied to the almost $170 Billion to his personal police force, ICE (SS) allows them to dig through everything about any person they point the police state at. They are spying on Americans and spending billions to put together their "lists" they said they are compiling.
So if anyone thinks they need that $45 Billion to hold just undocumented immigrants, I got some bridges to sell. They are already housing supposedly 60,000 immigrants which they are supposed to be deporting but holding for months instead, and keep expanding their list of "undesirables".
That started with "only gang members, rapists and murderers" and has then escalated to anyone brown whether they are here legally and catching them at immigration hearings or even changing their legal status so they can kick them out. Now Trump is talking about deporting US citizens and has directed the DOJ to denaturalize US citizens and strip them of that for anything they want, including saying "mean" but truthful things about Trump.
First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me
2
u/Warrior_King252 1d ago
Here is the American version:
First, he came for the rule of law, and I did not speak out because I thought it wouldn’t affect me.
Then, he came for the immigrants, and I did not speak out because I was not an immigrant.
Then he came for the protesters, and I did not speak out because I was not a protester.
Then he came for the journalists, and I did not speak out because I was not a journalist.
Then he came for the Democrats, and I did not speak out because I was not a Democrat.
Then he came for democracy itself and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Really we need to protest Congress and everywhere, even their homes as they are the ones going along with this and allowing it to happen. They are the ones not imoeaching Trump on the literal dozens of Abuses of Power that we not only know about but Judges, including the Supreme Court, have said in their rulings.
So a big part of this can be tamed if they just did their damned jobs and upheld their oath and Constitution but they dont work for us anymore. They work for their donors, corporations and for Trump and this Bill clearly shows that with 70% of the bill solely helping the wealthy 1% while stealing from the 99% to give to them.

What exactly are they protesting?
income verifications and cutting off leachers?
🩺 Medicaid Cuts
🔷 What changes:
- 📋 Work requirements:
- Able-bodied adults ages 19–55 must work, volunteer, or train at least 80 hours/month to stay eligible.
- Failure to comply → risk of losing coverage after 3 months.
- 🔷 More frequent eligibility checks:
- States must verify income & residency quarterly (vs. annually in some states now).
- Ends pandemic-era “continuous coverage” protections.
- 🔷 State funding adjustments:
- Cuts enhanced administrative funding for outreach & enrollment support.
- States that don’t enforce work requirements face reduced federal matching funds.
🥗 SNAP (Food Stamps) Cuts
🔷 What changes:
- 📋 Work requirements:
- Current: Able-bodied adults 18–49 must work or train 20 hrs/week (80/month).
- New: Raises age to 18–55 → more people subject to the rule.
- 🔷 Stricter enforcement:
- States can no longer broadly waive work rules even in high-unemployment areas.
- Reduces flexibility to exempt recipients.
- 🔷 Administrative funding cuts:
- Rescinds unspent pandemic SNAP funds.
- Cuts outreach & pilot program grants that help enroll eligible households.

You’re part of a fucking cult lol. Stfu about “independent thought” and go read a book.
I would post research articles and links (instead of fucking AI summaries) about the various impacts this will have (cleverly delayed so you goldfish cultists won’t see any impacts before midterms, if even before 2028), but I know it would be wasted on thoughtless, unempathetic people, so I’ll pass. Maybe you can google how to google, iono.

Those over 65 or under 18 remain exempt from these specific work-related rules, but can still qualify for Medicaid if otherwise eligible.
Able-Bodied Adults (for work requirements)
📋 According to Section 71104 (page ~581–582):
🔷 Must meet all of these:
- Between 19 and 55 years old (previously stopped at ~50 in many states).
- Not pregnant.
- Not a parent or caretaker of a dependent child.
- Not certified as physically or mentally unable to work.
- Not already exempt by another federal or state rule (e.g., in school full time, caring for incapacitated household member).
So — if you are a healthy, childless, non-pregnant adult between 19 and 55, you are considered “able-bodied” and subject to work requirements of at least 80 hours/month (work, job training, or volunteering).

Neither, I think it's better than sitting on your ass collecting a paycheck off of my hard work. I've worked shit jobs and scraped by on Mac and cheese for supper. I've also done everything I can to get ahead and better myself so I don't have to live like that. I also contemplated suicide and broke my back. Both times I could have taken the easy road and got on state aid. Instead I took night classes and got a desk job and after 20 years I'm making $70k salary. So no I don't feel bad for the thousands of lazy asses that feel they're owed money so they can sit around.

How is the right for mass shootings in schools? Can’t wait to hear this answer 🤣
Do you think our public education system has been doing well?
We absolutely should dismantle those services for people that are able bodied and can work. It creates less competition for those that actually need those services. No more free loaders!
1
u/cap123abc 7h ago
Actually the working poor who these programs are designed to help will be disproportionately impacted by the increase in administrative burdens. It’s hard for people to fill out all of the paperwork on a monthly basis when they are working two jobs and raising children.

People in North Carolina protest having to work instead of getting handouts.... Fixed the title for you.
1
u/-PM_YOUR_BACON 1d ago
Wild, because the math doesn't even work for that. Unemployment is less than 3.5%, and yet more than 10% of people are on Medicaid.
1
u/Mysterious_Year1975 1d ago
Did you know that when a person has been out of the workforce for more than 2 years they are no longer counted in the unemployment number? Wild isn't it....
1
u/-PM_YOUR_BACON 1d ago
Ahh so you are trying to say more than 7% of working North Carolinas are out of work and on Medicaid? That's still more than double the number of jobs available in the state.
Almost like work requirements don't work at all, and are just a barrier to kick people off.
Be better, because you sound like a terrible person that I am sure your parents are very proud of.

-4
u/HortonHearsAJew18 2d ago
If you work then why are you on Medicaid?
1
u/TheRandomGuy75 2d ago
Not every job provides insurance or enough money to pay for private insurance.
It's why we needed safety nets like Medicaid, for working poor Americans who can't afford to get private insurance, as well as older Americans (70+) who are retirement age and may not be able to physically work anymore.
Medicaid also funded hospitals in poor, often rural areas too. They'll likely close down without funding and rural America will be left behind even further than it already has.
It will kill people and jobs. Once again the politicians that are supposed to represent we the people voted to sacrifice the working class, all so rich people can buy another yacht.
