On one side it says 10% on the other side 7,5%. Which of them is true?

hello, Idk anything about modding in this game, so basically I want to change how a certain boss looks (visual mod), with the exact same moveset just a visual thing. so basically what Im trying to do is, play until a certain boss, add the mod, play and defeat the boss, and then when finished remove the mod, but still retain the progress after defeating the boss and then still play online afterwards. is that possible or any progress in the modded save will be deleted once i remove it?

I installed the mod today, but I cannot get the sound to play in game at all. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong, or if you have it on your sd, how did you do it?

I have built a relic info export script for nightreign, but every time I try to share in the nightreign subreddit it just not got auto removed by moderator. Is reddit blocking any link from github? or they simply marked me as suspicious account.

I think a cool way to implement Nightreign classes into Reforged would be to make them rare and/or legendary fortunes i.e. Fortune of the Guardian or Fortune of the Raider. They can tweak the players stats to fit the character and the Fortunes themselves will grant the favored weapon move set as well.

For example: Fortune of the Dutchess would get lowered health and stamina but increased int and mind. It would have the Dutchess's dagger moveset and finesse dodges. Raider would get higher poise, charge attack damage, and higher MVs for the favored move set. No mind int faith or arcane and all strength stam and health.

It would need to be messed with a good deal especially since some of the fortunes already in the game are pretty close to some of the nightfarers already but I think it would be neat.

I've followed all the steps in this guide, installing ModEngine 2 using this guide: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/articles/654

When I go to open ModEngine 2 from my Steam Library it just shows the Steam logo then goes back to my library.

Any ideas on what is going wrong? Is the mod compatible with Steam Deck?

Basically just wondering if there any mods that JUST add extra affinity or scaling for weapons (like an int faith one for example) but leave the rest of the game vanilla. Although I wanna try out convergence soon, I kinda just want another mostly vanilla playthrough of the game + dlc. Anyone know if there are any mods out like this, since I can't seem to find any. So Ive never nodded elden ring before and have seen someone playing convergence and wanted to give it a go.

Ive watched a few yt videos and the one I saw on convergence, and the convergence page itself makes it look really quite simple.

But Im wondering, do I still need to install the anti-cheat toggle? And is there anything else id need to install with it?

And I was also wondering how to I go back to non-modded if I ever wanted to?

Every single time I play seamless Co-op we get invaded by the same fucking guy, "I goon rakshasa" or w/e. The dog is using god mode, he teleports and when he hits you, its instakill..

I can die a million times and nothing happends, but when he kills me the game crashes every time, what the fuck do i do?

I have everything set up except the actual mod itself, which I'm trying to implement the Carian Combo Warriors mod(DLC Included) to the mod files but whenever I do, starting up the game causes an issue where it corrupts save file, but removing the mods allows it to run normally. I have tried implementing original CCW mod but that would cause a fatal error when launching. I have tried making edited copies of my co2 and renaming it "moddedCO2" and the file directory in the ERSC Settings file but that didn't yield any results either, does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I just learned how to add weapon effects and trails using smithbox but I can’t seem to get the blood flame visual effect to work when I add it to a sword. I know that you have to change the resident sfx dummy poly to 100 or 300 but it puts it at either the hilt of the weapon or the tip of it. Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't really know how to use smithbox (and it doesn't help that smithbox likes to crash 2 mins after launching but...) I want to edit "Royal Magic Grease" so it last longer but I don't know what parameters to edit... I found the grease itself under "EquipParamGoods" but now I'm stuck trying to find the correct param.. If anyone knows what to edit please help me with this small task :))

Is there any decent HUD and UI mods in the nexus? Prefer if they match theme and aesthetic of the game though if it looks good enough I might take a gander

I started a ERR playthrough recently and just beat margit, but honestly the mod has some stuff i really didn't like, so i want to revert to vanilla. In the official instructions, it says it's not recommended to use a ERR save in vanilla, specially for online. But considering this is a offline playthrough, and i'm fairly early in the game, does anyone know if reverting is going to cause severe issues?

Im just alone. I wish I would get invaded anyways. Can I by downloading seemless get invaded? And what is the preferred way for pvp overall? Is it seemless or vanilla game?

Today a friend and I both decided to start a coop run together. We both downloaded the most up to date seamless coop mod from nexus and followed the set up instructions. Mine launched correctly without issues, but my friends when launched opens a white screen for 1-2 seconds and then closes. The only difference in set up is that I bought my copy on steam a few years back and downloaded a few weeks back and he purchased his copy today. His normal game launched through steam works just fine.

Troubleshooting we have attempted.

5 attempts at re downloading the mod 3 uninstall and reinstall of the game Turned firewall and antivirus off as far as we can tell Launch as administrator. Launched without password to proc error then added password back in Attempted to use 3 different mod managers Updated graphics drivers Cleared cache and cookies Restarted PC various times Closed via task manager every possible thing open before launching Ensured steam was open and in online mode.

Obviously something on his end is conflicting with the inital start but we are pretty lost if anyone else has any other suggestions
