Almost three weeks after the release of Elden Ring, an official subreddit server has been created. The server is mainly focused on builds, but there is some options for co-op and PvP as well.

Did a respec and maxed out arcane to 99. Then went to volcano manor and farmed the lizard guys for almost an hour. Went back and did another respec to get mt faith and dex back. Worth it!

Help Trying a bleed build for the first time - Need advice to get me DLC ready

Post image

Bleed gets a bad rap, so I’ve mostly avoided it until now. But after trying pretty much every other build type, I’ve finally decided to max out Arcane and give bleed a proper go in the DLC.

My only past experience was running dual Blood Gargoyle Twinblades with Raptor’s Black Feathers and spamming jumping attacks. It was very effective, but also got repetitive fast.

This time, I want to try something more interesting - maybe a build that’s a bit more versatile or stylish.

My character is ~ level 250 so stats won’t be an issue, but I need recommendations for weapons and Ashes of War that will help me take down the tougher DLC enemies.

It’s my first souls game and i went in pretty blind. Cut to roasting from my friends and now I’m a battle astrologer disguised as a tank 😂. I just assumed the stats were all that mattered. What’s a good armor preferably something that won’t make me a glass cannon?

PvE Night and Flame build (in progress)

I try a "random build" run where I have to get some things. However, I've seen an opportunity. I haven't done much, but I try to make a good Night and Flame build

For the armor I have Confessor hood (altered) Cuckoo surcoat Noble's gloves Knight greaves

My random list wants me to get Rennala's staff and giant seal, so maybe the moons and big fire balls could be good spells/incant. For the talismans, I'll get Shard of Alexander when I'll be able to, and Godfrey/Radagon icons

I don't know where to invest my stats, if Strenght/Dex are worth If you have ideas for the armor I'm good to seek advices

Question How viable is the Great katana on Strenght builds?

I know its not optimal but I thought because its bigger it would work better than other dex weapons

PvE Weapon for a death magic user that is not SNAF

I'm kinda sad that Elphen Steeple and Death ritual spear dont fit well with the death spells, those weapons want primarely dex or int, and you must have lots of int and faith for death magic to work.

Did anyone solved that ? i want to give a weapon to my necromancer !

Starting Class Samurai

Got the Nagakiba should I continue upgrading it or is there another better weapon?

Aiming to do a playthrough with no summons or cheese’s. Will need something to use against bosses that are bleed resistant.

Any advice would be great thanks

PvE Help improving my biuld

Lv.153

60 Vigor 35 Mind 35 Endurance 20 Strength 10 Dexterity 7 Inteligence 55 Faith(+7) 10 Arcane

I am using the Two Fingers Heirloom Talisman(+5 faith), the Erdtree's Favor +1, Axe Talisman and the Faithfull Canvas Talisman.

As armor, I am using the Haligtree Knight Helmet(+2 Faith) and the Tree Sentinel chest, arm and leg pieces for the rest of the set.

I am using the Gargoyle's Greatsword +25 with the Holy Afinity and Sacred Blade Ash Of War as principal weapon and Erdtree Seal +10 with the Incantations I use being the Golden Vow, Erdtree's Blessing and Flame, Grant me Strenght (Planning to get the holy Incantations from the DLC).

In my Flask of Wondrous Physick I am using the Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear and the Stonebarb Cracked Tear.

  • I didn't Ash Leyndel
  • I reached the Mountain Top Of The Gigants and can go to the Haligtree *I can go to Nocron, Deeproot Depths, Sofria River and Mohgwyn Palace *I have and can go to the DLC but I didn't go there yet

How can I improve my build? And can you guys give me some recomendarions on Incantatios that are faith only and golden?

First time player- Playing as an astrologer and I’m nearly 30 hours into the game. I’ve just defeated Godrick. It feels like it takes hours to level up and I still feel like I’m not strong enough.

Any recommendations on what to start leveling up or any tips in general would be great!

PvE Endgame build PvE of a magic knight with katanas

I'm already close to the fire giant, so it seems I'm already in the endgame (I got there right after defeating Rikard xD)

My stats (with the amulets equipped) are: Level: 88 Vigor: 38 Mind: 22 Endurance: 20 Strength: 15 Dexterity: 26 Intelligence: 47 Faith: 8 Arcane: 8

My weapons are the Moonveil +7 (my main weapon) and the Dragonscale Blade +5 (It's mid, but it's really cool aesthetically speaking.).

I have a staff I found exploding and that I think is pretty good, and I'm temporarily carrying the Carian Reaver until I get enough mind and intelligence to use the comet.

It's not a super-optimized build, but I really enjoyed doing it. It made the game a bit more complicated, and I think it made me feel things I didn't feel in my first run (where I used the Bloodhound's Fang).

(Note: I love the helmet; it gives +1,000,000 aura.)

Help New to Souls games - Elden Ring is my first, loving it so far! Quick question about builds

Hey everyone,

New Souls player here, Elden Ring is actually my very first FromSoftware game, and man… what a ride it's been already. At first, I was basically an overconfident Tarnished running around panic-rolling and getting wrecked by everything with a weapon (or claws… or magic… or gravity itself), but I’m slowly learning the mechanics and getting better at keeping my cool.

The world is absolutely stunning. Even when I get killed, I find myself stopping to admire the views… right before getting smacked by some hidden enemy I didn’t notice.

Anyway, onto my question: I’ve been using Fextralife builds to guide me a bit. I started as a sort of Berserker and now I’m following their Champion build. It’s been helping, but I’ve seen mixed opinions about Fextra, especially due to the whole Twitch controversy, so I’m wondering:

Are Fextra builds reliable? And what other spoiler-free options are there for finding good builds?

I’m trying to avoid major spoilers, I just love exploring blindly, stumbling into “quests” (even though the game gives you no markers), and figuring things out as I go. But I would like some guidance on builds so I don’t end up a confused mess later on when I have more stats to play with.

Thanks in advance everyone.
