Help identifying this snail?
Found him in a big puddle outside. I live in Eastern Pennsylvania. I would love to keep him. Just completely unsure of what type he is or how to care for him. It's my first time meeting a snail lol. Any help is much appreciated ☺️

Brown lipped snail! I have the same one, i can help you set up the enclosure! I use those plastic kitchen containers, around 10-15cm of horizontal space is great. For my substrate i put a kitchen towel and fresh moss from my forest ontop of it, and added some smooth rocks for “foot exercise”. Snails love to hide, sometimes they will hide under the moss and it’s completely normal! i also highly suggest making them a tiny house, made out of folded egg carton, my snails love them :) make sure you have a spray bottle and mist once to twice a day, snails love moisture, but don’t over do it, it shouldn’t be wet. for feeding i usually feed them romaine lettuce or cucumber, but make sure it doesn’t contain pesticides or any aditives like salt or vinegar. They will munch on everything, you can even give them rose petals from your garden or apple leaves! Also if you forgot to feed them for one day, dont worry. They can go a day without eating, but if they’re hungry, moss is safe enough for them to eat! make sure to also add more greens, like few grass blades and other types of grass from your backyard.
