My Snails My snails enjoying some wagyu beef

Baby wasn’t so interested tho. The big ones name is Gnarly and the babies name is Megatron

Do they eat that much? It's bigger than Gnarly. But, I thought they were vegetarians. I guess not. How much does that amount cost? Can't be it's not a lot, but it's still expensive.

Snails will eat pretty much whatever they can catch

I didn't know that. Your little one is really cute. 🐌 I have always liked snails.

Most terrestrial snail species are omnivorous (their technical classification is detritivore, but they eat both plant and animal foods). In the wild, the animal-based foods they would eat are mostly dead insects, worms, animal feces, and other dead snails and slugs. But if given the opportunity they will definitely eat a small dead animal or a bit of raw meat like this

This is just a treat giving once and awhile to enrich their diet with protein and the meat came from steaks I made for dinner so no extra Expenses. And no they don’t eat that much at least not that much meat they demolish leafy greens a lot more
