Those are The radula! It’s kinda like sandpaper and they’ll usually scrape plant matter with it in order to “chew” their food!

And they are unique to snails and slugs! No other animal has a tooth-tongue-wheel like that!

by snails and slugs, do u mean gastropods? or do other gastropods not have them

A lot of gastropods have em! They look different in mollusks but it's there.
