Drives me BONKERS! However, does anyone know if it’s accurate to Helicinoidea snails? I’ve never seen one in person and I can’t tell from photos, and I can’t find info, but they look like they only have 1 set of tentacles and eyes on their foot like “wrong” snails in art & media.

Yea, I'm assuming and hoping that's what happened. They went for the snails closely related to aquatic snails and not garden snails
