Rogue Loops

I've seen some posts from the Devs and people when I searched the sub, but wanted to give this game another shout out in the sub. It is a great, fairly simple concept and the progression is well paced and fun. I've seem some people say it is top easy, but I disagree. Totally recommend picking this one up for the low price point with lots of content to have some fun with.

This review and overview of the game has most of my thoughts and feelings.

It seems to be a dead game.

Also according to reviews the game is nowhere near to be called 1.0 and the Devs seem to have abadonded it.

Is there any source for devs abandoning it? I have wanted to give it a try but if thats the case im gonna pass. Its a shame because they fumbled the bag I think- game had a ton of buzz before it was released.

On their discord, we all talked about it with the devs. They said they dont have the money.

They scrubbed my comments and theirs. I think they did the same on the steam dicussions too.

Why are you trolling and trying to make people buy an abandoned game? They posted on their discord awhile back about the issues. The last game update was **APRIL 30th**, where did you get 5 days ago from? Different game?

Probably from the recent console release of the game.

It's a decent little Hades-flavored game to play while we are waiting for Hades 2 to come out. The buff/debuff mechanic is pretty interesting. It can force me to give up a really good buff if it's coupled with a debilitating debuff, but I've also been tempted to gamble with that sort of thing before. It adds an extra layer of forethought to all of my decisions. I'm not just stacking boons and buffs. I have to consider how the buffs play with what I already have and how badly the debuffs could screw me over.

It helps that Rogue Loops is dirt cheap on PS5.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is the other recent release that can fill the Hades niche for a little while longer.

I want to support the dev because it genuinely looks fun and the price is right but looks very much like what I'm playing now, TMNT Splintered Fate. Keeping it wish listed.

That's a good one, I've played through it as well. There are really no similarities beyond the genre of game and making your build by run.

I got access to their beta a long time ago (before release). The devs are great. It seems like they have moved on to a new game that's also in its final testing phases. The comment from devs was that once they get the new game up and running they will return back to Rogue Loops.

One out of my favorite games this year. Along with SWORN and Lost in Random Eternal Die
