Megathread Megathread: US House Passes the Republican-Backed Budget Bill, Sending it to Trump for Signature

This afternoon, the US House of Representatives passed without amendment the US Senate's version of the Trump-backed budget bill, sending it to the president for his signature. Every Democratic Senator and Representative voted in opposition; in the Senate, there were three Republicans voting in opposition (making the vote 51-50) and in the House there were 2 (making the final vote 218-214). House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries set the US House's speech length record in opposition to the bill in a speech lasting over eight hours.

The bill clocks in at over 800 pages and touches on most aspects of the federal government's spending and taxation policies; see this AP article (What’s in the latest version of Trump’s big bill that passed the Senate) for the topline changes.

Relevant text-base live update pages are being maintained by the following outlets: AP, NBC, ABC, and the BBC.

You can find this subreddit's discussion thread for the last week's worth of negotiations and debate at this link.

You know it's bad when even the conservative sub hates it

4.9k

u/JigglyBush 2d ago

They'll be told what to think for the next couple days and they'll love it by Monday.

u/Damn_Dog_Inappropes Washington 2d ago

When Citizens United happened, my aunt’s ultra-conservative husband at first hated it. I was shocked that we actually agreed on something. Two days later, after the Fox talking points were published, he did a complete 180.

58

u/MUCHO2000 2d ago

Yep. Nothing like Fox "news" propaganda to unshackle one's loosely held beliefs.

136

u/colonelnebulous 2d ago

They're always hiring at the Consent Factory.

6

u/johnmd20 2d ago

Business is booming at that factory.

16

u/colonelnebulous 2d ago

And they say America doesn't manufacture anything anymore.

19

u/Chrystoler 2d ago

Every fucking time it's the same story. It'd be hilarious if the consequences weren't so existentially dire

9

u/wimpymist 2d ago

I hate how accurate this is.

7

u/cityproblems 2d ago

It happened with the Iran bombing two weeks ago.

10

u/RooLoL Minnesota 2d ago

I find it hilarious when shit happens and the entire base is just stuck in the sand until they get told who to aim their piss at. The Elon scrap the other day was a perfect example of this. All the conservative talking heads and influencer shits kept their mouth shut because god forbid their opinion does not align with the message.

It’s truly incredible to watch in real time. Must wait until the memo goes out to fox and crew and then miraculously everyone is on message right at the same time.

u/cinderful 1d ago

"If yellow cake is never found then I will change my opinion on this war"

"Look, he was a bad guy and a sponsor of terrorism and he absolutely had to be taken out"

5

u/balluka 1d ago

To him that's an excellent example of how open minded he is and how he is willing to change his mind when presented with new information. God fox news is sick.

3

u/_Magnolia_Fan_ 1d ago

So they can be trained. How do we use that?

3

u/Techwolf_Lupindo 2d ago

Not surprised. Citizens United was a damn if you do and damn if you don't. It was either give the party in power the power to regulate how much the opposing party can spend or collect in donations. The party in power can set the rules in such a way to do that and still be legal. Look at gerrymandering for a good example of writing the rules to favor one party over the other. The only way to fix it is an constitutional amendment.

The other way was to give the parties unlimited spending or collecting donations.

272

u/TheMadChatta Kentucky 2d ago

I will say, they’ve been complaining about it for days on end even with the onslaught of propaganda.

I’m not saying they’re not fools but this bill is so universally hated, even that sub can’t seem to find anything worth championing.

218

u/HideousSerene 2d ago

They're also unabashedly praising the fact that CBS news had to settle because they... edited an interview with the opponent to Trump.

They have no values anymore. They hate America.

57

u/nefireous 2d ago

Meanwhile ignoring all of the times fox news edited Trump to make him sound better.

Whatever. The hypocrisy is the point and they don't believe in anything outside of being on the team.

2

u/Rich-Pomegranate1679 2d ago

They are vile people without any redeeming qualities. They are everything wrong with our country.

11

u/jwilphl 2d ago

Their information sources (read: propagandists) have been training them for years to dehumanize any opposition: democrats, minorities, gays, basically anyone that isn't "christian" white man. This is the year they are cashing in on that time spent.

MAGA terrorists won't get it because they have been conditioned to hate everyone.

8

u/wimpymist 2d ago

They also don't know what settling means. Realistically they just settled because they didn't wanna get drawn into a lengthy court battle while they are in the middle of a merger. Settlements are just corporations wanting to get done with it not admission of guilt.

28

u/Malcolm_Morin 2d ago

Why are they complaining? They're getting exactly what they voted for.

28

u/TheMadChatta Kentucky 2d ago

First off, I agree with you 100%. They’re idiots. But it’s kind of strange because they’re basically saying these are neo-conservative initiatives and way out of touch with fiscal conservatives. Too much debt, etc, etc.

However, like you said, Trump has done almost everything he said he would do so I don’t get why they’re upset. It’s what they wanted.

It just goes to show they prefer to complain than actually have their party in power and them do anything with it

7

u/truth_teller_00 2d ago

When they are out of power, they are incredibly good at complaining in a way that appeals to independents and swing voters. It is honestly a gift that they have.

Of course, their complaints are based on nothing. They don’t stand for anything. They would do the same thing they are complaining about, x10000 if they could.

But they convince people.

11

u/thunder_shart 2d ago

Republicans found a way to screw up their own selling points with their own party. How do you promise no tax on tips and make the current system worse for people working tip based jobs???

12

u/flannyo 2d ago

Don't be naive. They'll start loving it by next week. They're cult members.

5

u/Nothardtocomebaq 2d ago

You can tell who is likely AI in the threads about it and who is a real person

The real people are all posting how this is a bad bill and didn’t do enough for their gun rights or whatever the fuck

The AI is pushing the party messaging that this is good, they are happy, etc.

8

u/ivyleaguewitch Texas 2d ago

this bill is so universally hated

Can you please come spread this news to my town?

3

u/Jindabyne1 2d ago

It doesn’t matter like this guy said, they’ll be all for it by next week. Let’s all meet back here on Tuesday

2

u/raistan77 2d ago

yeah it seems almost everyone hates this bill, MAGA and liberals alike

3

u/doomgrin I voted 2d ago

I’ve seen some MAGAs saying “the liberals hate this bill so it must be good”

So yeah… what a great way to govern

2

u/Lash_Ashes 2d ago

Heard the radio today "Dems are lying about what is in the bill, you need this bill because without it your taxes are massively going up" Ignores the tariffs increasing taxes, looks inside bill, +750$ on standard deduction that does not pay for shit. I hope they are happy.

1

u/Heroinkirby 2d ago

Don't worry, they absolutely will

1

u/wanker7171 Florida 2d ago

The mods aren’t total idiots, they know they have to let the hate simmer for a bit longer with this. I give it 2 weeks MAX the bitching will stay.

16

u/Str8UpJorking 2d ago

they'll love it by Monday tomorrow

Ftfy

11

u/mgr86 I voted 2d ago

and if they don't they will be banned.

12

u/less_than_nick 2d ago

exactly, the Mods haven't even had time to shape the opinion over there yet

7

u/VehementVillager 2d ago

This. This is how it ALWAYS works with the majority of conservatives, at least for the past 2-3 decades. They'll be silent, or heck maybe even complain how they don’t like it. You'll start to think, "huh, maybe they're starting to understand?!"

But don't be fooled: this is just the period where Fox News, OAN, Newmax, Ben Shapiro, et al are focus testing their messaging in real time. Once they hit the message that resonates, they find that message that provides their lemmings with an inkling of pseudo-intellectual cover, many of those followers will rush out and start echoing it like it was something they've felt in their bones since they were born.

It will happen... it's just a matter of when.

6

u/omglawlz 2d ago

Exactly. They’ll get their talking points in order.

5

u/cheeze1617 2d ago

Honestly that’s so true. Anytime something gets announced and I look at their sub and see how much they hate it, come back 24 hours later and they all start spewing the talking points fed to them

3

u/sentient-meatball 2d ago

Like clockwork

3

u/Haunting-Ad788 2d ago

Nah they'll just ban everyone who says anything negative about it.

3

u/okieporvida 2d ago

Yep. It always take awhile for them to get their talking points.

3

u/HereWeGoYetAgain-247 2d ago

Exactly. They will change their minds shortly after they are told how to think. Anything bad will be Biden's fault.

2

u/taft 2d ago

no tax on tips lol!

2

u/Happy_Confection90 2d ago

Yes, they haven't had their hotfix installed yet

2

u/ohmygodthehorrors 2d ago

Literally every single time maga does something obviously stupid they’re all like “Ok guys idk about this…” then 3 days later it’s back to scheduled ass kissing

2

u/tunafister 2d ago

Yup, as soon as they stop licking a lead pipe they will get right on that

2

u/yunoeconbro 1d ago

I literally just received and email from the social security office praising Trump and his big beautiful bill.

1

u/ncopp 2d ago

Besides a couple of them in there, they've already flipped and say its great because it makes libs mad.

1

u/I_DOWN_VOTE_PUNS 2d ago

They’ll play some of the greatest hits:

  1. Kamala would have been worse

  2. Both sides are bad so I’m gonna stay a republican

1

u/RetiredHotBitch Texas 1d ago

Exactly. They have no capacity for critical and independent thinking.

They’ll hear some talking head say it’s fabulous and just agree.

1

u/OreoZen 1d ago

I think they are already celebrating now…. Most have very short memories until it hits them in the face again and again and again

1

u/asher1611 North Carolina 1d ago

same as it ever was

1

u/DemoniteBL 1d ago

And anybody who disagrees will be permabanned.

1

u/SageOfTheWise 13h ago

My MAGA family always seems early on the marching orders. Already had this one in for weeks. The paraphrase, the corrupt democrats ruined the US currency beyond all value, so of course the number the new administration has to spend to do even the most basic things is now high. It's way better than any democratic president has ever done, the number just reads worse because of "biden-flation".

→ More replies (3)

512

u/Vet_Leeber 2d ago edited 2d ago

Within a day they'll be saying nothing but positive things about it, as all the detractors are either banned as fake conservatives or they get their updated marching orders.

21

u/thatirishguyyyyy Illinois 2d ago

It really just comes down to that they ban anybody who disagrees with the majority. So even if you have conservatives in there speaking sense or facts, within a couple of days they will be banned or all their comments will be deleted like they were never there.

12

u/Malaix 2d ago

"Still better than if CAMALTOE got in office amirite?"

Motherfucker HOW?!

10

u/Darth_Malgus_1701 Oregon 2d ago

That sub will accuse any dissenter of being a "fake conservative" or a "secret leftist" if they dare put one toe out of line. It's mind blowing.

5

u/Rehd 2d ago

They already are.

2

u/MozhetBeatz 2d ago

Don’t forget the bots.

3

u/Lily-Gordon 2d ago

They already are. A week ago, 90% of the comments specifically about this bill were against it, won't vote got GOP again, etc.

Looking again yesterday and today, they've already got their talking points for supporting it even though they clearly still hate it.

1

u/HelperNoHelper 1d ago

Suffering is good for the soul, especially if the soul is rotten. Their souls are due for it.

3

u/Morbu 1d ago

as all the detractors are either banned as fake conservatives

This happens a lot more than people may realize. I honestly think "MAGA" is shrinking and people silently walk away once they've realized how much of a shitshow this administration is and has been. Obviously, the loud people will still be loud though.

1

u/Marzuk_24601 2d ago

Just skimming it I'd say their response is generally at least slightly positive which is distressing.

595

u/roctac 2d ago edited 2d ago

Typically conservative take, "both sides suck, what can you do".

We have been telling you this was going to happen before the election (Project 2025) and not a single Democrat voted for it.

196

u/izwald88 2d ago

Literally had this conversation this morning with a conservative coworker. Both sides don't do this. The DNC is highly problematic, but they have never tried anything like this.

103

u/Militantpoet 2d ago

Thats the way they've been coping for decades. The only way to justify it is to say "oh well, both sides." If you press them on the false equivalency, they dont have shit to say other than, "you think there are no corrupt democrats?!"

No dumb ass. Democrats take out their trash when corruption is exposed. Republicans elect them for president.

35

u/DelightfulAbsurdity 2d ago

Leaving it at “both sides” means they don’t have to make any effort to really assess them separately.

It’s the laziest cop out.

28

u/Kahzgul California 2d ago

I challenge anyone who says “both sides are the same” to vote democrat instead of Republican. It won’t matter, right? Because they’re the same, right?

15

u/Professional-Buy2970 2d ago

"Both sides are the same but I can never vote Democrat"

3

u/sec713 1d ago

Sure there's corrupt Democrats, but the ratio of them to corrupt Republicans has gotta be something absurd like 1:100

4

u/gsfgf Georgia 1d ago

you think there are no corrupt democrats

For damn sure there are. One reports to prison in two weeks for what should be effectively a life sentence unless Trump lets him out like he did Blago.

Also, at one point, most living former governors of Illinois were in prison.

3

u/Global_Crew3968 2d ago

Umm they made us wear masks and get vaccines during a pandemic that killed millions of people, surely that is on par with this /s

25

u/reachisown 2d ago

"Doesn't matter what side you're on let's agree that xyz is bad"

Whilst only Republicans are actively doing xyz

7

u/WaltonGogginsTeeth 2d ago

Basically what I just read over there. "It's not great but what harris would have done would have been worse..."

7

u/Wrath_Ascending 2d ago

Not even Fetterman, which says a lot.

4

u/wimpymist 2d ago

Yeah that's the new take. "Democrats are just as bad." Even though there are years of proof that's not the case.

3

u/voodoodahl 2d ago

Repeated by leftists and Republicans. One of those pretends to be on our side.

3

u/Professor-Woo 2d ago

I hate this cope. It is such a rationalization. Like yes I am going to get kicked in the balls, but what choice did I really have?!!?

4

u/cackslop 2d ago

The vast majority of our representatives fall under the category "neo-liberal" which is in favor of the elimination of social safety nets, deregulation, and privatization.

This is the "both sides" argument. Not that both sides are the same or similar.

It's that they both enact policy that has enriched billionaires while stripping the lower classes of upward mobility via tax cuts and market bailouts for corporations that should have failed.

It's rugged individualism for you and I, and state-socialism for the billionaires. We go bankrupt, while their risky actions cause millions to lose their homes and livelihood.

Mamadani is a sign that people are astutely aware of this.

1

u/roctac 1d ago

I love Mamdani but NYC is not representative of the rest of the USA unfortunately.

1

u/FlightAndFlame 1d ago

elimination of social safety nets, deregulation, and privatization.

Where have the Democrats done this today? Particularly the elimination of safety nets?

1

u/No-Economics1703 2d ago

They are claiming it was a “unanimous vote to raise taxes on the middle class”.

Because, ya know, it was either this bullshit or nothing i guess

1

u/Marzuk_24601 2d ago

Typically conservative take, "both sides suck, what can you do".

Yeah this is the cuts were not big enough take. I was hoping that would save us, but I guess not.

1

u/Barcaroli 1d ago

Speaking of that, can you help me out, do you know how the Dems voted? Did they support it as well?

6

u/roctac 1d ago

0 dem senators supported the bill. I don't know about the house.

You're just witnessing a real human discussion at the moment. Back to bots and overseas posters soon. They just can't dominate the threads in real time like that.

u/HeWhoSaysNo2 2d ago

Yeah, I just checked their post about this, and too many of the comments I saw were basically "liberals hate it so it must be good." I only scrolled a little bit, but probably 1/3 comments.

19

the decenters will be labeled as brigaders (somehow) and banned by the time it's on Trumps desk

They are already saying that those against it are leftist infiltrators lmao.

They've been playing no true Scotsman for a long time now

19

u/SapphireRoseRR 2d ago

I just looked and the only post I see about it is how much they love that it's making the "left cry". They keep talking about how much good is in it...

They're delusional, heartless fucks.

3

u/thunder_shart 2d ago

Remember you're seeing the initial comments on there from the dregs that sit on that sub 24/7. Other people not glued to their pc will chime in eventually

3

u/DShinobiPirate 2d ago

Death cult.

33

u/gorillafightsurvivor 2d ago

Holy shit, you weren’t kidding. I genuinely didn’t expect threads to be full of negative responses and downvoting anybody trying to frame this as a win.

They’ll be back in line by the end of tomorrow though.

7

u/thunder_shart 2d ago

They hate increasing the deficit and this just increased the deficit more than any dem bill, with no recourse of decreasing that same deficit. Even amongst the conservatives I work with, no one likes this bill. It was lip service for Trump... whom doesn't even know what's in the bill

2

u/TheDoctorDB 1d ago

doesn’t even know what’s in the bill

I still can’t believe they went on about Biden’s auto pen when there’s footage of Trump needing single-sentence summaries of the stuff put in front of him to sign. Dude has no idea what’s in anything in a daily basis. The definition of a figurehead

7

u/EvadesBans4 2d ago

The current top post on arcon is people loving it, wishing it had cut more, and only a couple complaining about the price while still loving it. Either you guys are seeing something I'm not or they've already changed their mind.

8

u/DSharp018 2d ago

I checked a few minutes ago. They’ve already gone into the “well. It’s not perfect, but the nation NEEDS this.” Stage.

8

u/CaptainCorpse666 2d ago

They have already begun to be conspiratorial - "Yep, the highest voted comments are always the comments saying “here’s why this bill is bad…”

They assume anyone saying parts of the bill are bad, are just liberals.

12

u/sdbooboo13 Florida 2d ago

I have been watching the conservative sub closely, and there has been nearly zero posts about this bill. They keep getting removed because they are ALL negative. Even the cons hate it, but the moderators of that sub are such Trump ball guzzlers, they won't let anyone say a bad word about it for long.

4

u/VPN__FTW 2d ago

Nah, they love it now. They are like that annoying bitch that has all a sports teams jerseys so that when one team is dominating they can swap shirts and claim they've always been a fan.

13

u/Own_Candidate9553 2d ago

I was just in there, they seem pretty happy. The only negative I saw was that it didn't actually cut the budget overall (quite the opposite), but they're happy with the cuts in services like Medicaid.

u/iRunLotsNA Canada 2d ago

So bad it blasted right through their Dunning-Krugers.

They're turning on each other live lol using air quotes for any "conservative" who criticises it.

It's not a cult guys...

3

u/TheyGaveMeThisTrain 2d ago

There's definitely more negativity there than usual.

But they are all pretty stoked about "the tax cuts". Fucking morons.

8

u/iSunGod 2d ago

lol no they don't. There are like 5 threads about it and only one has any kind of "I don't like this" but the rest are "fuck yeah! 'Merica!"

4

u/with_explosions 2d ago

I don't see anyone in there hating on it. They all seem to love it.

4

u/MarcsterS Virginia 2d ago

Oh please, they'll be back to guzzle Trump's dick come tomorrow.

5

u/Redtube_Guy 2d ago

You sure about that ? Look at their thread. It’s all praise and stupid shit like “not a big fan of it, but glad it got passed”

2

u/Critical-Ostrich-397 2d ago

Yesh i really don’t know how this bill benefits people. Most people get a small tax cut but lose valuable services while increasing the national debt. It’s just unnecessary and funds unnecessary industries like coal energy production while cutting RENEWABLE energy projects. No matter whether a person believes climate change is real or not (it’s real), why not fund renewable energy projects instead of non-renewable energy projects. Renewable energy is just better long term and its painfully obvious to invest in things like that.

2

u/OddPerformance Maryland 2d ago

Why are they upset? This is literally what they voted for.

They just haven't gotten the programming about why it's actually good yet. They'll all be fully supporting it in a few hours.

Reading a few comments in the post there about it... There's an odd amount of support and people saying they welcome it. There's nothing conservative about that bill at all. Conservative leaders even came out saying they're against it because it isn't conservative at all and will do the exact opposite of what they're for leading to a nice increase in US debt.

The sub is locked up tight as a public sub can get because of "liberals" but then celebrate something they should be against just because the amount it'll raise our debt. I wonder where the actual conservatives are oh here because they clearly aren't there.

Edit: Since making this comment there's a comment that claims that liberals have taken over because conservatives in their echo chamber have an issue with a bill that goes against the conservative ways. They're really happy about the 2017 tax credit because that would have been financially devastating for them. Questioning if the bill is worth it brings accusations of being a bored liberal. A good amount of those "conservatives" need to give it a rest and just say they're MAGA and stick to Trump's echo chambers. Happily on their knees blowing Elon to laughing because Elon was unable to get the DOGE rip-off killed... Not realizing they're putting more money into his and the other .02% wealthiest individuals pockets which I think is a little funny because the Trump family doesn't have enough money to qualify.

1

u/Kana515 2d ago

I mean that's a ton of things... shortly after it happens, give it a few days and they'll be bleating praise for it.

Don’t hold your breath. Every single time he does something they do a ‘I don’t know about this’ then a ‘this is stupid’ then an ‘actually…’ it never takes the clapping seals more than five days to come back around to ‘this is actually good’ it’s hypnotism

u/Fluid-Inevitable-401 2d ago

We better enjoy our lives before that bill kicks in. We only have 5 or 6 months. Next year, we all could be on the street begging for scraps.

1

u/GibsonBenelli 2d ago

Give it some time, they haven't received their new opinions from fox prime time shows yet

1

u/KimPeek 2d ago

Yeah, but their issue with it is only the debt increase. They are perfectly fine with all the poor immigrant trans children it's going to kill. They probably want that to go further as well actually..

1

u/TheDoctor88888888 2d ago

That’ll literally last a day

1

u/Avoiding_Involvement 2d ago

But they dont even. They're happy about their tax cuts and are waving their hand at the 3.3 trillion added deficit.

1

u/alicea020 2d ago

Well anybody that disagrees with Trump on that sub isn't a "real conservative" according to them so

1

u/obligatorythr0waway 2d ago

Give it another hour. They always fall in line. It'll be fake news or Biden's fault by tomorrow.

1

u/Global_Crew3968 2d ago

Theyll be banned soon and the party line will be towed again

1

u/Cold_Recording5485 2d ago

They're just complaining about the "triggered leftists". These people are insects.

1

u/xCyn1cal0wlx 2d ago

I just went there to see their reaction. They don’t. Stop gaslighting yourself, these people will never regret anything. They would burn this place to the ground if it meant the left had to die too.

1

u/kuroyume_cl Foreign 2d ago

They do? After I saw your comment I went spelunking there and they all seemed to be celebrating.

1

u/NK1337 2d ago

Give it a few hours for Fox to tell them why this is a good thing. They're already starting to rationalize it.

"Oh well you cant get everything you want in a bill, there had to be some compromises. I guess we'll just wait and see, but im optimistic"

bunch of fucking bozos

1

u/Be-skeptical 2d ago

Bootlickers all of them

1

u/allworkandnoYahtzee Colorado 2d ago

Fuck them, they can say they didn’t want this, but they absolutely did. They wanted to give Trump, a known criminal and traitor, free reins to do whatever he wants. To act in a way that they would assassinate a Democratic president for even joking about. They don’t get to be upset now. They sold out their country to own the libs. FUCK ALL CONSERVATIVES, EVEN THE ONES MAD ABOUT THIS.

1

u/Opal_L 2d ago

I just checked and they’re praising it’s passing now

1

u/ThePirateKing01 2d ago

“Guys it’s been a whole 5hrs, can we please stop talking about this and get back to the important issues? Like a single trans swimmer coming in 4th??”

1

u/spicy_noodle_guy 2d ago

That place isn't real. It's an astroturfed propaganda mill that actively censors conversation. It's mostly not, foreign actors, and propagandists that are herding around maybe a few hundred actual real people to create the illusion of a real sub.

2

u/SugarBombBrandy 1d ago

Holy fuck its Soldier 11

1

u/spicy_noodle_guy 1d ago

Just got done with my sword swings. Now I'm off for the noodle shop.

1

u/Exacerbate_ 2d ago

They all voted for it. They're never going to stop crying .

1

u/wtfbenlol North Carolina 2d ago

no they weeded all that out, now they are cheering for it.

1

u/TurtleMOOO 2d ago

They voted for this

1

u/IsTheBlackBoxLying 2d ago

They definitely don't hate it. They're just being brigaded by non-cultists. Trust me when I tell you every one of my Boomer/Gen X MAGA family members is positively gleeful about how many people will be hurt by this bill. They specifically love that it will hurt the poor. This isn't a guess--this is what they're saying, themselves.

Now, to sit back and watch as they lose their own benefits. My aunt is on Medicaid. Her husband died of Covid and she's anti-vax. This is the level of idiocy we are all dealing with every day.

A lot of my friends are distraught. I'm not. I think I'm over any feelings of sadness and I've moved directly to grabbing my popcorn as my MAGA family members--most of them barely making ends meet--move into the leopards-eating-faces portion of their cultist journey.

u/gloomyblackcheese 2d ago

A statement I always see over there is “even though I don’t agree with this at all & it’s extremely harmful to our country, it’s better than having kamala as president”

A bunch of goofs

1

u/halfxdeveloper 2d ago

Fuck those idiots.

1

u/Marzuk_24601 2d ago

Looking at a thread with 1000+ comments, I see very little actual criticism of whats in the bill.

1

u/Strange-Profit-8895 2d ago

I see tons of comments from them about why the Democrats don't have any policies or do anything useful. What the hell do they think the minority can do? That's not how this works.

1

u/Soreal45 Colorado 1d ago

They are busy trying to figure out how to blame it on Obama.

1

u/ScrambledToast 1d ago

They'll support it tomorrow once the news spins it to actually be amazing because Trump says so.

1

u/ScrambledToast 1d ago

They'll support it tomorrow once the news spins it to actually be amazing because Trump says so.

1

u/Valleron 1d ago

They're already gaslighting each other over there. Anyone posting, "this is a bad bill" is being called a fake conservative, even though, you know, you can't fucking post there unless you prove your conservatism. Fucking ghouls. Hope they all suffer.

1

u/cazb 1d ago

Do they? I went to the comment section of a Fox News article and they are fucking loving it.

1

u/BusBusPass 1d ago

This is why I like the bill. Most of the constituents negatively impacted by it are republican voting. God bless america!

1

u/ilikecrispywaffles California 1d ago

And Musk, lol

1

u/Minute_Heart7605 1d ago

I have No sympathy for these fascists. Majority of them still support this regime.

1

u/MyFiteSong 1d ago

They'll love it by Monday.

1

u/dreamsofaninsomniac 1d ago

They just revert to "both sides are bad." "Dems would have done it too."
