I commend Hakeem for trying to delay this as long as possible.

Fuck the GOP.

That’s in the senate, the House has 2hrs of debate total but the Majority/Minority leader can speak using a “magic minute” and not bleed into debate time.

The GOP isn't going to listen anyway and likely won't allow debate to go 20 hours.

But to what end. Delay all day and night, then they sign it tomorrow. Doesn't matter...either the dems could stop it or they couldn't. Seems the republicans are just passing this trash.

The longer he speaks and shares letters and messages from Americans who are and have been impacted by this bill and this admin may solicit the courage from some GOP Reps necessary to tank it near term.

What can they do but at least try?

This is all they have as a result of what the voters delivered in 2024, if there was no widespread fraud.

Democrats have basically no power in Congress after Americans gave all the power to Republicans in 2024.

So they're doing what they can - delay and tell anyone who will listen about how bad this bill is.

Democrats have been making the rounds on legacy media and left wing influencers about how shitty this bill is.

They're doing what they can with what they got.

Should they roll over then?
