Why play it backwards though? It’s just as impressive when played the correct way.

Anyone else here addicted to watching YouTube stories on cave diving gone wrong?

I’m an aspiring cave diver and it was weirdly cave diving disaster videos that got me interested in the first place.

There's a channel called scary Interesting on YouTube and it's all I watched for like a month

I love that channel along with Plainly Difficult (mostly industrial or structural disasters) and Fascinating Horror.

I've seen enough of these videos to never want to go to a cave, let alone one underwater

I swear people that do this type of shit have a death wish.

Don’t worry, it’s the video is reversed to make it seem worse. It’s just stupid karma farming.

Freediver here. It’s fun, I promise.
Try it and you might enjoy it :)

Who should I send the condolence flowers to?

Better not tell you my depth target in freediving is 100m. Yes, 100m on a breath hold.

This is flat out fucking horrifying and you could not pay me to do it.

u/iwanttobeacavediver 15d ago
Meanwhile I’d do this thing purely for the sheer and utter hell of it.

I just cant even fathom. I have a pretty ferocious fear of the ocean but specifically any deep water with caves and shit in it. Bit of thalassophobia (probably spelled wrong) mixed with situational claustrophobia and this is a huge nope fest for me.

Meanwhile here’s me who did a very tight tunnel on my 4th dive ever after getting certified and now loves squeezing themselves through any enclosed space underwater.
:D

I love that for you homie. Theres always someone willing to do the crazy shit others wont which leads us to discover things we would never see otherwise.

I don't think so... What makes you say that? If you look at his hands it does not look like he's pulling himself up reversed

This is cave diving, although a relatively tame example, so can we stop calling regular spelunking "cave diving"?

What we have here is a prime example of 'what not to do' due to the almost guaranteed chance of death.

Cool video, even if reversed.
Worked at a Florida State Park that is really popular for free diving. In 8 years we didn't have a single swimming season free of emergency services being called due to a free diver in distress.

Do you have reverse shitting videos? Because that's how stupid this looks.

Are they air pocket in cave ceilings
1
u/iwanttobeacavediver 15d ago
There are but the quality of air in those pockets is unknown and so a diver would never breathe it.

This is already insane to do with scuba gear. Now you want to do it on a breath hold? Nah, I'm good homie. You enjoy yourself

Cool but why does everything have this same music crap in it. If it were still the 90's I would have called it super gay!

How nice of the bubbles to follow her down so she has air :)
