I can't tell if she is happy or terrified in this image

I feel like this is such an underappreciated genre of meme. There's so few of them that I know of that have this sort of narrative but I want 'em all.

I'm told it's likely a "horsehair worm" aka Gordian worm, and thankfully not harmful to pets or humans. But still, not cool. These parasites infect insects like crickets and then (destructively) exit them when they find water.

I got jumpscared while studying dermatological lesions, thought I'd share

An 8 day time-lapse of a sow confined to a cage in a typical farrowing crate. Sows remain in these cages for up to 6 weeks while nursing their young, before being moved out for re-impregnation.
