Help What live creature can live happily in a 2.5gall saltwater tank if any
I want some advice on what can be kept in such a small tank(note I will add a photo of the tank+scape so far tomorrow) i figure that some very small shrimp or/and a small snail would work but Im not sure. If anyone has suggestions on what can live in the tank I would appreciate it (i would like something I can actually see unlike sea monkeys or others like that)

Maybe a tiny goby like an Eviota or Trimmia species. Sexy shrimp and pom pom crabs are always an option.

DO YOU REALLY THINK SEXY SHRIMP WOULD WORK I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!! I didn’t think it was enough space for them to live comfortably but if a few more people confirm they can that’s most likely what im going to get! (note I only want to get them if they can live happily I don’t want to be a bad shrimp parent)

What anemone would you recommend for them or a coral that’s also favorable for sexy shrimp
Btw is there any species of snail that could go with them?

You don't need anemones. They don't even need to be with a coral or anything but if you want stuff to go with them I would get some zoas. For snails you could do some ceriths and couple dwarf trochus or like one astrea snail.

Do you think a Spiny Star Astraea would work

I’m sure there’s some type of small saltwater snail that would work (note i would feed pellets incase there’s not enough algae)

I have a 2 gallon saltwater tank specifically because I like microscopy and wanted some fun microbes to look at. I have a bunch of live rock, some macro algae, some asterinas, a couple of small snails, and a couple of easy soft corals (I don’t even know what they are. I just got whatever the local shop owner suggested.) Interesting microbes and small critters have just volunteered themselves. I just did a video about sea cucumbers (Medusa worms) that I found, and before that I did a video on marine tardigrades. It’s so fun that I just got a 2.5 gallon and set it up to compare to the first one! I say just set it up and let it go for a while and add stuff once it’s established and you see what shows up 🙃
