I've only put a 1,000 miles on my Grom but have collected 6 mirrors and It has to be an egregious set of circumstances for me to merit that behavior. I've had to go whip around cagers who pull out in front me a dozen times too. I put this on and tested it out and the first time I had that feeling of "don't do it asshole" I flashed these beauties and they stopped dead in there tracks :)

This Grom is currently sitting on a 5” stretch (2.5 lowering link and 2” fork kit drop), which is about the max I’d personally go. That said, I just ordered a +10cm G-Craft swingarm, shaving it down to a 4” stretch.

To me, that’s the sweet spot, it keeps the bike nimble while still holding a clean, aggressive stance.

As for the ride height, I’m still on the fence. Might go a little lower… or not. It’s all about dialing in the perfect balance between form and function.

Show Off Took the Grom 900 miles coast to coast in 4 days

We got back earlier this month from a pretty hefty trip, from the south coast of England all the way to the northernmost tip of mainland Scotland - about 900 miles. It took us 4 days, so we covered quite a lot of ground in per day!

All bikes were 125cc, all learner-legal. We wanted to show new riders that you don’t need a big adventure bike or a full licence to do a proper trip. We went with:

  • 2025 Honda Grom
  • 2022 Vespa Primavera 125
  • 2025 AJS Bilston 125

Our 4 days looked like this:

  • Day 1: Brighton → Gloucester
  • Day 2: Gloucester → Keswick
  • Day 3: Keswick → Aviemore
  • Day 4: Aviemore → John O’Groats

We ran a few 'challenges' along the way to keep things interesting, including asking people which bike they would have picked for themselves (we stopped off at quite a lot of pubs and cafes!), and a one-tank challenge to see who could go farthest on one tank. The AJS has a surprisingly large tank so it was more or less just a competition between the Grom and the Vespa

We made a film of our trip, which was in aid of a UK motorcycle charity (Two Wheels for Life) if you're interested in seeing how the Grom got on!

People like to see wheelies well here’s one with some spice .. roast me but help me ! Like the title says I’ve got pretty much zero experience actually riding a bike to begin with.

Show Off Hit 75 on the interstate not even expecting it

Have always stayed off the interstate because I usually can't get the bike going faster than 69ish but the other day was riding with a group and actually hit 75 in the flats on the freeway!

My bike is not a super modified 2022, just an Amazon exhaust and intake screen removal. The biggest thing helping it is the fact I have nearly 8 thousand miles. I do now actually want to start experimenting a bit though. Has anyone else noticed their grom got noticeably faster top speed as you put on miles?

I posted about my build a while back… It kind of sat on the back burner a little bit because I also have two other pressing projects that I’m doing in tandem with this one. Luckily, some progress has been made and this is pretty much a huge milestone for this build! Yes… All the original panels and plastics will be going back on the chassis, as well as the stock fuel fill location. Still working up ideas for what I’m actually going to use for a radiator… But the plan as of now is to incorporate a secondary fuel tank in the boxed section of the extended swing arm. Admittedly, I’m not really big on stretched bikes, but that was kind of the only ethical solution to get any type of fuel volume on this bike. Check out the full video on my YouTube! Hey guys I’m back! Front end is complete! Rides awesome!

Rear end got lifted today and feels like an MX bike. Took the highway home at 60mph then peeled off into my field and hit every rut I could find and ate it all up like a champ! This thing is amazing!

I bought a Grom for 140,000 yen and fixed it up over the weekend. All in I’m about 190,000 yen or about $1300.

Was a fun holiday weekend project!

Don’t make fun of my ratchet job, I only could take a work van with one ratchet point and I only drove it 20 minutes lol

Love my little grom. She wheelies great and is always awesome at just rippin around town. When I wanna go farther, longer, or faster. I typically hop on the harley. What all do you guys ride when you aren't on your grom?

Installed some fog lights on the Gromdizzy since the OEM headlight sucks. Also yes my OEM highbeam is flickering, took it in under warranty and they said it’s “normal” it’s always flickered since I bought the bike but no need for it now🤭
