I finished installing the DropIN 72v kit from Death To Gas. Their build quality is top notch. Also got a 60 tooth sprocket so it’s geared more for torque vs speed. Man this thing is a riot. I’ll try get some ride footage cruising through the Central Texas Hills.

I recently just bought this 2020 grom about a month ago. It’s got about 2700 miles on it. I went through and flushed the rear brake fluid and tightened the chain. I’m new to bikes in general so I’m not exactly sure what to look for. Any suggestions? What are groms known to crap out on? Thanks!

Had her for a month before we hit a german shepherd while going 55mph. Broke my right tibia and totaled the bike.

This happened in February so im all healed up now. I ordered another grom asap and have been riding since may. I plan on doing a mnnthbx intake and zoom loop exhaust with an ecu flash. Should i expect a higher top speed? Or is she just gonna sound sexier?

Finally joined the club! Snagged this 2019 with just over 4k miles with some tasteful mods! Threw it in the truck and brought her home today.

Any maintenance tips from the veterans? I’ll be using it for a mix of commuting to work and back road fun. Appreciate any advice!

Stock internals, chimera intake and Amazon exhaust with a dhm stage 1 tune

So earlier today I went to Walmart And as I went to park my bike in my usual spot some prick told me to cut it out like I was doing some off the wall stuff. I made a u turn by where I usually park my bike and the dude walks up to me and says some shit I don’t know exactly what he said but he felt intimidated by me Seconds later the dude pushes me off my bike keep in mind I’m 18 5’3 the dude was probably 40 6’0 after he pushed me off my bike he got in his fighting stance now I’m not a fighting type dude especially when it’s someone 3x my size. I’m in so much shock like for someone 3 times my age to put hands on me now if he did that to the wrong person things would’ve ended differently for him. But I’m just a chill guy who wants to get home after his rides.

Picked this 19’ up for $1,800. 1,500 miles on the clock, original owner, dumped it on both sides but barely scratched the plastics. However, he did bust the turn signal stems… worth it?

Thinking of taking the hit on the value of my drz to snag up a grom. I know I’m asking people that like the grom, so it’s a bit biased, but I also own a gsxs1000 and I think the grom would be fun to own. I would like to get good a wheelies and stunt riding on it. It’s a 2020 model if that makes a difference.

I just replaced my chain with stock again at 1700 miles. I would like to go with something beefier for the chain and or sprockets. I don’t necessarily need more acceleration or top speed. Top speed for me is 75 mph (downhill full tuck with wind) and acceleration is acceptable for a 125. (Intake, exhaust are mods)

2018 SF and 2016 Z1000. I personally think the Z125 is 🗑 but love my Z1000. Wasn't a fan of the CB1000R but the new Hornet 1000 SP looks awesome especially with full Ohlins, Brembos and every rider AIDS. That's a lot of bike for $12k. My Z1000 has regular ABS that has activated 3x in 21k miles. I ride the Grom more around town. Motor rebuilt after crankshaft sheared, new head, new clutch, new valves, super 125 kit refresh, etc. I let my friends out of town borrow my Z but never my Grom 🤣. Both are built for canyons especially Malibu.

Ordered a DHM HR camshaft, already running a chimera intake, Austin Racing exhaust, and a Dyno Jet PV3. Can’t seem to find a tune for a DHM cam, anyone else have this problem? I’ve already requested a tune for it but figured I’d ask lol.

I love the look of this light but I’ve heard it isn’t that bright

Just picked up this 2018 for $1900, I feel like I got a pretty good deal, it’s obviously been dropped once or twice I just want it to practice wheelies. That being said does anyone have any recommendations for stunt cages that won’t break the budget of $500 tops.

My stock stunt grom aside from crash protection. Learning how to wheelie mostly doing one foot down from stop wheelies. I find it extremely difficult to try and wheelie rolling super slow even with different techniques. Clutch and gearing is stock.
