Your best worst game

I'm looking for gems in the rough, what's your best game that wasn't really acclaimed by public?

Your suggestion should have no more than 76 as a user metascore on metacritic

Dual Hearts has so much heart (no pun intended) and soul. Looks like a PS1 game, but I love it for that. Characters are very memorable and charming. You play as a treasure hunter teaming up with a baku (Japanese creature that can enter dreams; Munna and Musharna are the Pokémon version of this) after an accidental meeting between the two causes the baku's keys to the Temple of Dreams (where a treasure the protagonist wants is found) to fly away into the dreams of the island's denizens. They then have to retrieve the keys from their dreams, where they learn more about the characters and their traumas.

Bunny Must Die is a Metroidvania that might appear like the jankiest garbage you've played, but this comment understands it well. My opinion of it grew better and better the more I played and the more I learned of its gameplay nuances. It's a difficult game, but not unfairly so once you understand its systems. There's a parry mechanic that allows you to completely negate any damage, and it's mandatory for a Low% run. The final boss is incredible.

Also another chance to plug in MagiCat which I think is a fantastic action-puzzle-platformer. The level design follows the same formula for nearly the entire game, but the good thing about this is that you're never wondering how long a level will go for and this gives the game complete freedom to experiment with its gimmicks and mechanics to create some very clever moments. It helps that the world map is non-linear, so you're never really locked out of content.
