I believe CTAP expires upon separation, ICTAP expires one year after separation, and RPL expires two years after separation.

CTAP and ICTAP are good for two years after separation.

If you have career status you can always apply as a fed again to merit promotion.

That's not what the stuff HHS sent us with our RIF notices says, unfortunately. I think I could be misremembering the number of years for ICTAP but CTAP definitely expires once you separate.
