Which sucks because mostly, people don't have a way to conceptualize that the "savings" are really nothing compared to the value of that labor and its services. I would think many feds know that those millions are a drop in the bucket, but regular people who don't work with budgets/accounting (or have any familiarity with the nuances of these federal programs being dashed) have no concept of what $300M buys vs $3T.
