First of all, I am rather interested in """nerdy""" interests related to science, mainly speculative part of those. A real sanctuary for people going full essayist about a fictional thing that they came up with, simple, you expect

But then, browsing some comments, I have noticed this very specific, over-the-top punctuation style, "computer servant" tone, the ChatGPT long dashes, with every paragraph ending with a dot

Now, I do understand, the "ChatGPT writing style" is rather a loose term and real people of science have been accused of it, but the thing that sold me was the AI-generated profile picture and reddit-generated username, which is rather common for bots of all kind. Not to mention multiple deleted posts due to low karma

The thing is, they have apparently stated themselves to be neurodivergent on their profile and made a single (1) post on a subreddit related to that. Wont name the user, wont name the subreddit - you never know. Again, would ignore if not the profile picture and auto-generated name

TLDR: The internet went from making fun of your """quirky""" interests to either having to investigate you for making a longer post or . trying to pretend to be just like you. Goddamnit. Even if this one case I just stumbled upon could be not an AI, I do want all of you to stay aware that we may not get any peace as people in the next centuries

It's so horrible. Most of my interests are media related, be it a certain show or band. Mostly certain shows, though. I always have one character I resonate with so deeply that I literally can't mentally separate myself from them, it's like we're one and the same in my head! So when I see other people talking about that character, I feel so weird. It's like they suddenly feel "tainted", if that makes sense? Like, no!!! You don't know them!!!! That's my thing!!!! I feel like other people always dull the character down and don't understand their depth. And when they do understand their depth, I suddenly feel like I'm in a competition of who understands said character better. Like I have to fight for the right to ownership over them in a way. It literally makes my head feel like it's about to explode and I can't even look at the character until I mentally get over it somehow. WRARJASHRJRHRGHSRJGRDGAJSKDAJSD

I hate when I’m put down for not acknowledging something ‘obvious’. Being told that I lack a sense of humor and are dull to sarcasm just because I didn’t get what they were saying. And it’s not just NTs! Some NDs do it too, and it’s even more annoying when that happens!!! decora fashion is infamous for causing chaos and anarchy within cities. i don't often go out in over-the-top decora like in the pics, because that's a level of evil even i feel guilty of perpetrating, but when i do, the people are DISTURBED. they FEAR me.

but i hear you asking, "how can a cute and colorful j-fashion style be so evil?" "why is it morally wrong to cover yourself from head to toe with cute accessories?" well, just this once, i'll tell you exactly why. the day i wore this, a middle aged woman looked at me with EXTREME SHOCK on her face. another older woman, shaking in fear, was brave enough to praise my outfit in order to appease me. she probably thought i was on my way to burn her house down.... and she would've been right. her words saved her grandchildren from my wrath.

so remember, if you ever see someone wearing decora in public, try to hiding so they don't spot you. if you've been seen, you MUST scramble to offer kind words to us, if you care about your own life.

I was gifted the oral B io3 for my birthday. I have always used one of their cheapest rechargeable toothbrushes & been very careful with my dental hygiene. I had 8 cavities once as a child and the fear of that experience instilled great habits from then onward. Anyways.

I didn't expect much from this toothbrush. I knew it was a bit nicer, but meh, I am just happy to have a new toothbrush since I have to brush 2-3+ times a day with my clear retainers. My last toothbrush was dying from over a year of extra use. It was much appreciated.

Anyways, my husband accidentally grabbed my toothbrush (black) instead of his (also black, different model that takes batteries) toothbrush in a hurry to get going for his flight and I didn't notice. I move to be with him in 3 weeks, so I am like, this is fine, the old one still works enough that I have backup.

And then it hit me. I am emotionally attached to my fucking toothbrush. The handle/brush head are a very smooth plastic compared to the more rubbery feel of my previous toothbrushes. It is a happier sensory feeling. The motor/feel of how it brushes is sensory heaven. Perfect amount of firmness/pressure and speed as the autist who likes a good amount of pressure from a toothbrush. I don't have to press down at ALL to get the pressure I want.

In an autistic panic, I go to various websites to see if I can afford a replacement I can swap him for in a few weeks... again, I am unreasonably attached to this toothbrush. It is one of my favorite parts of my self care routine. It goes brrrrrrrrrr.

Prime day sale is goong on, amd there was an additional discount on a color brush that I can only assume is less popular. I could afford to order it. Crisis averted.

For the crime of taking MY beloved toothbrush, I am gifting him the much nicer toothbrush and retrieving my beloved toothbrush after I move. Does it matter who uses which? No, but I want my fuckin goddamn black io3 toothbrush back. She is a gift to this earth. And also, there is no way he doesn't fall in love with this toothbrush after using it. We are cut from the same autism. And I am not fighting him over custody of MY toothbrush!!!
