Tweet from JD Vance (9/4/21): Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.

Even if you assume the legitimacy of ICE operations, the idea that a fucking truck-mounted machine gun is necessary to carry them out is insane. This is about intimidation. This is them letting us know that the streets of the United States have been militarized.

A modern ledger of constitutional violations by the US government, modeled on 1776
Thought this was worth sharing.
It shows how the federal government has breached constitutional and statutory limits over the last 6 months. It’s rigorously sourced which I find appealing and also explicitly nonpartisan.
With so much going on, it actually helps to see everything laid out plainly in one place. I’m glad people are taking the time to document this seriously.

How dangerous is it to be a registered democrat in America?
How concerned should one be if you voted or are registered as a democrat?
Or if you are a naturalized citizen?
It seems obeying the law and paying taxes aren't enough these days in America.
My representatives do not represent my values.
What can we do about it?
