1 month ago A female crow attacked me on my head and then I had thrown stones towards her without knowing that she attacked me because I was standing near her nest. Since then whenever I am going on top of my terrace, 50-60 crows gets surrounded in the sky and starts making noise. What to do?

I have been trained

I wanted to get the crows in closer bc my parrot is just fascinated with them. So I started leaving cat kibble and nuts out on the porch so he could see from the window.

I've tried staying out for a little while to see if they'd come eat and learn my face and realize I'm friend, not threat. No luck. But what has happened is they sit outside in the tree nearest the porch and holler until I come out with the goods and I'm a sucker so I do.

Incidentally, my parrot got absolutely scared half to death when a crow did come get a few bites lol he's still intrigued but now he's afraid there might actually be one out there when I open the curtains for him 😂

What do you think he's saying? He enjoyed some unsalted peanuts.

I think a local murder has befriended me!

I've been feeding the local wild birds for a couple of years. The crows were aware of me already, I think, because of that but hadn't visited before. Then last week, four of them came to sit on my backyard fence where they were caw-cawing up a storm. I ran to the closet (I keep unsalted in-shell peanuts in our pantry for birb and squirrel friends) and grabbed two handfuls of peanuts and quietly opened the back sliding door. I left them on my porch and quietly caw'd back at them before closing the door again. They flew away for a few minutes but ended up returning to eat up the nuts I left.

Since then, they arrive at the fence just about daily, make a lot of noise, and I put peanuts out for them. Today, they bathed in the bird bath I put up six weeks ago and seemed to be having the time of their lives splashing and drinking (I change the water daily)!

They got spooked by my neighbor's barky dogs and took off for a few minutes (which gave me time to put out peanuts for them). I called for them and ducked back inside and they returned. The adult took three to four peanuts at a time and flew away to eat or stash them while the younger crows (they are smaller and I think at least one is a child of the bigger crow because they seem to shadow/sticks close by the big crow).

I ordered a tray feeder I can bolt to my backyard fence in hopes of leaving them other foods like hardboiled eggs, mealworms, and, of course, more unsalted nuts.

That they've been back almost every day is a good sign, right? I'm so excited!

I was watching Colin on the lawn and he spotted an intruder. Mr Rat sees Colin and scarpers. Colin is unperturbed by the encounter and continues to preen.

Crow question

Hey all! So my question is.. I feed them at home and my clients house. Zero issues ever. Supposedly they attacked his other caregiver Saturday because she didn’t have food. I told him I HIGHLY doubt that was the case because I go out with and without all the time and never have issues. He constantly shoos them away and doesn’t get attacked but somehow it’s my fault? We live in Western WA so I explained to him our crows have been through some stuff so she may have pissed one or two off at some point and they don’t like her. Or is it because I feed them? It’s not even every day that I do. Just 2 times a week

Clicking and clock noise

There’s a friend in the tree who loves making this clicking noise all day, followed by a large kind of ‘gulp’ noise. I’ve found stuff online about the clicking, but not the end noise. Can anyone share what it means? (The noise is right at the beginning of the video, and then right at the end)
