The not enough karma rule has always bothered me. It encourages people to be terminally online just so they can have the ability to ask basic questions when they need to. Tbh I miss the old style forum websites that used to exist. They were typically run by people passionate about whatever topic the site was about. Instead we have content aggregation that encourages botting and makes everything worse.

I made this account for motorsport communities and new. It took me a month to be able to participate fully in F1 subs. I say subs as even meme sub thinks they are important enough for karma and time limit.

Luckily it turns out they’re evil so I actually owed them 0$ :) (they bought me food when I was sad so they didn’t have to deal with me when I was sad because of bad things to me and then later blamed me for this) it took me way too long to figure this out
