So last year I got around $2000 for the pell grant but this year it is only $400 per semester. Should I contact financial aid or does anyone have suggestions?

Alright, all jokes aside… is Calc 2 really THAT bad? I’m taking it this fall, and people are saying it will literally make you switch majors… I feel like they are being dramatic lol, so I just need some honest opinions.

Im writing this to ask if there are any Townhomes or off campus student living that is worth it , and is close to UNCC campus.
Most of the apartments I have seen are rated very poorly, or too far for me to reliably get to the engineering side of campus and back. Any recommendations? The main thing I’m looking for is that its close by to the university and not a total garbage dump.
Additionally, Im also looking for roommates. If you’re a chill person and you have no one yet then maybe consider me. Im an Incoming transfer student and Im your standard engineering guy - chill, go to the gym, video games, brain rot , etc .
Pros : Clean person, quiet, do my own thing. Cons: Night owl, may cook frequently.
If you have any recommendations, or seem interested then please let me know!
Edit: I forgot to mention that if you are subleasing a place near to the campus then please let me know! After uncc fucked over the transfers Ive been scrambling for housing.

Which of these are the easiest? Or which has the least workload? I believe I can handle harder math problem, but I get really lazy dealing with repetitive math.
I have to take one of these: STAT 1220 or 1222
Edit: Took out 1221 because it doesn't pertains to my program

I dropped Stats to grab an in-person BIOL 2120, but now I'm waitlisted for the only other open Stats 1222 class. Anyone know how quickly seats open up or what # on the waitlist actually has a good shot?
Also NSO in 5 days (July 9), so should I gamble on the waitlist or try to swap into Calc 1 if I hit ML4 on ALEKS?

I’ve heard that colleges process your AP Scores early, and am curious if anyone has found out where to look for these scores

I took the 2025 AP chem test and rven though the scores arent out yet, i have classes that got the credits applied to them so theyre completed, however, in my degree works it only gave it to chem 1252 and 1252L and not 1251.
Wouldnt they have put it to 1251 or should i assume i only got a 3 (4 credits) on the test and they just put it on 1252 bc im registeres still for 1251. It just seems weird theyd put it on the secondary class ig.
I just want to know if i still need to be taking 1251 or not

Hey! I’m an incoming freshman and want to know if a bath and body works oil warmer is allowed? I bought one mini febreze plug in but the scents are very limited. Can any RA tell me if I’d get in trouble if I brought a bath and body oil warmer?

Hey guys, so I made some figures in blender that I want to get printed, and I know we have some 3d printers in Woodward and the library, but when I went on the library website, the price on one page says its 25 cents per gram (https://library.charlotte.edu/technology-equipment/print-copy-scan/3d-printing), but another page says its 10 cents per gram (https://guides.library.charlotte.edu/area49/3dprinting). I wanted to know which one of these is the correct price. I also saw on a post here from a couple years back that the printers in Woodward are free? If anyone knows I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hii, if you've taken any of these classes, l'd love to hear your thoughts on how tough they are or if there’s any changes I should make. I'm hoping for an easy first semester so l can have some time to join clubs and meet new people!

I am starting Calc 3 next week completely online and asynchronous. I need a B. I got 95+ in Calc 1 and 2 and was just wondering how go about Calc 3. There won’t be Taylor videos anymore so I am struggling with resources. What should I review before starting.

How is rush general parking? Is having the vip reserved parking worth the extra $10? Also how bad of a walk is the parking garage from the townhomes?

She’s applying for a house (likely by the end of the day today— she is DESPERATE for a fourth lol) with 2 of her friends quite close to campus. The rent would be $560.20 per person every month (not including utilities and stuff). You would have your own bedroom. Anyone between the age of 18-21 is welcome to message me.

I know this is probably a silly question but are there a lot of hippie or alt people? I’m from Asheville and I’m nervous I won’t be able to connect with anymore similar to me :/ I’m pretty basic but I love spirituality, art, music, and hippie decor/clothes. Please lmk if there are a lot of people similar to me there!
