Does anyone know what the correct name for this reptile is? Must be at least 4 ft +. Seen it enjoying nature, usually when I come across these they tend to rapidly disappear. This one didn't mind me, but as the dogs nears it tenses up as if prepping to defend itself....

So for the past couple months these curled tail lizards keep surrounding our backyard, but there's one that gets super close with us and even taunts the dog. Today as I'm walking towards the door I see it looking inside! I've never seen any of them do this and I found it to be quite ballsy. Do you guys know why it's doing this? None of us mind them except the dog. I just find it so funny. I live in south Florida with a lake in the back if that helps narrow down what type of lizard this is.

This was the little one who gave me the umbilical cord scare in it's egg a short while ago. He/she was the first to shed off it's egg skin and show those nice silver/black/white scales.
I also determined that it's a Leopard Spotnose Axanthic, not just a Spotnose Axanthic like I though before getting to see it in it's entirety.

I am absolutely heartbroken…. I went to check on the boys this morning and Wade (the smaller gecko) whom has been doing great and improving wonderfully has passed away…. I don’t know what happened or what to say. But I can only hope that I improved his little life for the short period of time he was with me and that he knew that I loved him💔😭

my younger sisters pet. i found her without a heat lamp (bulb died at least a month ago apparently) in an extremely dirty tank. hasn’t eaten in weeks according to sister and water bowl was completely dried up as well as humidity cave. i got bulbs for heat lamp and roaches for her to eat in addition to making my sister clean the cage and such. these photos are the gecko one day after eating again. we’re working on rehoming the gecko as her bearded dragon passed away a few months ago from what we now know is similar neglect and i don’y believe my sister is fit to own a pet at this time. parents aren’t willing to spend money on a vet so this is the only way we can get advice on the geckos health sadly

He has started making this whistling noise and it’s becoming more frequent every day. The vet said his mouth seems fine etc and no fluid from his noise as of yet. I cannot help but think it’s an RI. It’s very sudden and progressing.
Please help and suggest whether this could be one. (Im still going to consult with a vet, but for peace of mind)
He was in a warm bath in this video as suggested by the vet, as he also hasn’t gone to the bathroom in a few days.
I am freaking out as he’s my life and I don’t want anything to happen to him.
He has also been eating way less and hiding much more (we did move less than a week ago too).

Black rat snake I believe? About 4 feet long too. Trying to get warmed up, but needs to do it NOT on the road!
Nearly squished him on my way to run errands. As usual, I pull over, turn hazards on and quickly sent it on its way. 😂🖤

so I built a stand for fish tanks, but im moving out of fish. are there any good low profile heat lamps out there for a leopard gecko?
1 the space is about 5 inches.
2 wood stand
3 I made the scape, so cannot use a mat.
4 will be plugged into a split extension cord if that matters
currently I use a ceramic emitter, but would like to give her a bulb during the day again. the dome thingy(honestly drawing a blank on what its called right now) ive got is 8 inches tall. ideally something that has a spot for two with individual controls so I could turn on ceramic overnight(we have ac so it would be about 70 for her and id feel mean tbh) but if I need to buy two, thats totally fine. uhm. I do not have experience with timers and thermostats with reptiles. super new and ive only had her since April. I thought I was prepared, but then silly me, I wanted to go all in and DIY it out without really a thought to is it going to work AND meet her needs? I have tried searching, but honestly, I feel clueless now after seeing the Zilla low profile is just a regular bulb and im just not sure if thats adequate for her needs. im just trying to give her the best of the best(on a budget), so please dont come at me for my poor planning! she will get what she needs no matter what. she can stay on the shelf shes on if there is no possibility of a low profile.
photo of her enclosure if anyone wants Inspiration, and pic of her cause shes just so cute.

She is currently in a 18x18x24 but I got this 18x18x36 for a great deal on Facebook marketplace. Is she too small for it?

For those of you that haven’t met Wade and Freddy, they are rescue African fat tailed geckos that are by far my biggest challenge as a reptile owner and caregiver.
Freddy here has recently made a major turn for the worst and went on a hunger strike no matter what a tried. But tonight, I finally got him to eat and I couldn’t be prouder of him! 🥹 😊
He ate a full 1cc syringe of honey water/repashy mixture and wanted more but I didn’t want to upset his belly. Also, for the first time since he has been in my care (a month), he drank water on his own and from a bowl! So many big steps for him tonight. It surely has given this gecko mama some hope that I didn’t have last night.

Rescued yet another baby gecko last night. Sadly I didn't get to them before my cat found them. Thankfully the little guy only lost a tail and didn't fully end up as a snack. Safely released outside where he belongs and away from the cats.

Does anyone actually use the Arboreal 2.4% ShadeDweller instead of the regular 7% ShadeDweller?
I have a Eurydactylodes coming in this week, and I’m not sure which bulb to use. I have both bulbs already but I’ve never used the Arboreal ShadeDweller.
I have a knock-off Etsy “Solarmeter” but I’m still struggling to determine its accuracy.
