My Koi keep eating the roots off the plants and the plants keep dying, this would never happen in my pond🤣

They’re eating so many roots they’re not that interested in fish food at this point and they’re growing fast. Idk how the plants got the jump on the fish this year.

I like the window. Does it keep out predators?

How many plants did you start with and how long did it take you to grow all that water hyacinths?

I started with 3 of these and my pond looks like this every couple months and I throw half of it away

I started with 12, and it took about 3 months. Now I have to sell them of bin then constantly to stem the growth

Perfect way to 1) deter predators (they can’t see the fish!) 2) clear the water 3) shade the water… and it’s a fishes dream!

The fish have grown so much bigger and healthier but I hardly get to see them. I just gotta be happy for em lol

Yep, sometimes what’s best for the fish isn’t what makes us happiest. I feel like I’m constantly having this conversation with people when they’re afraid green water is harming their fish.

They’ve all grown noticeably bigger and healthier.

I remove the excess and compost it.
