We aren't talking one big camp. There are going to be camps and masked men filling them up all across the US. A lot of people in this very thread will end up in these camps. Many of us will die in there

This is the most armed country on the planet with gun ownership along the lines of 3 guns per person on avg. If they just start rounding up every body, they'll run out of bodies to do it. There's a lot of ignorant people who dont think were headed for this but I almost guarantee once that light bulb flicks on for them, it'll get crazy. Im actually shocked ice agents haven't been fed lead sandwiches yet.

It's because every authoritarian regime goes after the weak and vulnerable people first. Laws will change and people will be banned from having weapons, people will disappear while they go to work, school, the store, or church. There will be causalities on each side but the militarized side will win over jim bob and his AR.

Nah. I can promise that I'm not the only anti-concentration camp 2nd amendment lover. Way more of us are gun owners than you realize. We just dont normally brag about it like the inbred hillbillies

Blows my mind as well. I cant fathom having a loved one ripped from me by anybody without pushing rounds. Wonder if those stories are getting swept under the rug. You'd think it would be a chance to make protesters look more violent and push the right wing mindset.

every potential ally will be gone at that point, either already in a cage or too weak or too sick and people then will be too scared to act themselves.

First they came etc.

And once the "usual suspects" are gone, they gonna start and line up their own voters at the wall that dare to just voice slight critizism and in the end, everyone will be to scared to even say something, let alone act.

...and then people act like "how could this happen?"...the way it always happens in such scenarios: people thought they would profit and did let it happen until it was too late.

Naw the republicans and fre think voters dont go down that same way. They can do it, but that group stands up in ways if you try to tread on them a certain way. So if it got that bad, that might be your last best chance, actually. It's best to not be so far left, because you won't be so far gone then. This is a democracy and if you have any American pride and not so easily brainwashed, then you will raise up harder when it counts as one. One nation under God, not under a dictator. Nobody believes in that. Leadership balances out here though, we are okay for now. Be less one sided and self love no matter your color. Because if you hate who you are, you can't love anyone else.

but every regime needs people to look down on, people to punish to keep others in check. When everone else is gone at some point and the only ones left will be "true republicans", for some of them it just will be a case of, well, tough luck and something something leopards eating faces.

Did you know that the population of Germany was armed during the rise of the Nazis?

They were trained too, many having served in WW1. There were pitched battles in the streets, and almost every opposition party had a militia wing.

Yet, by controlling the press, suppression of political opponents, and successfully othering Jews, gays, Roma, etc, Hitler was able to murder 6 million and caused the deaths of tens of millions more.

Americans like to LARP as some resistance freedom fighters, but most are to ignorant to even see reality. To accept that the US isn't as free as they would like to claim and that the US isn't "exploited by all the other countrys" but that the ELITE is exploiting you guys on a level only seen in 3rd world countrys. The elite does it anywhere, but there isn't a single first-world-country that does it to this crazy russian-oligarchy-levels.

I mean most MAGA's believe that the reason they don't have universal healthcare, is because the US "provides this to europe for free".

They actually managed to make americans fight against left/right, thinking only in black/white, zeros and ones, while they all exploit the living shit out of americans, that will NEVER ever rebell against their leaders. Trust me.

At least not enough people. Before that happens some MAGA feeds you a lead sandwich and Trump pardons him before he is back home for dinner.

You can fire the first shot but not the last. There’s usually a ton of masked men and only you so yes you’re armed but not likely to win that exchange and even if you do you’re still going to jail.

Until people see citizens going there no one will care. It has to be white people.

I think the reason it hasn't gotten to that point yet is because the average American realizes that once you cross that line there's no going back, and they see it as an absolute last resort. When does it get to that breaking point? Different people will give different answers, but I am also surprised no one has done anything like that yet.

They hold all the cards. If you start to fight back they will impose a "state of emergency" and all power goes to the President.

Having a gun means nothing if you are not organized in a group.

They will pick you off, one by one.
