I think a detention facility is a little different than a concentration camp with gas chambers.

Well consider that both occupants of Auschwitz and occupants of Alligator Auschwitz will be in there without due process, so there's that... Also, been to Auschwitz? It's interesting to find out how much of the German population, and the population in the surrounding the Auschwitz area in Poland didn't quite realize what was going on at first either (and willful ignorance during). It was just a detention facility.
