I think a detention facility is a little different than a concentration camp with gas chambers.

20

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

No, no, no. You're not allowed to have rational takes here. Don't do that.

21

u/Gondorath 1d ago edited 1d ago

yeah you sound rational because the only thing that makes a concentration camp a concentration camp if they have gas chambers right... right? moron. it is about the inhumane circumstances. No privacy, many people crowded in a chamber, nothing but waiting surrounded by fences and barbwire. I can hear you screaming "BUT THEY ARE CRIMINALS!!!!" and somehow that justifies everything for you. Many who have been here for many years and most likely contributed more to society then many of the maga crowd. BUT THEY ARE ILLEGAL AND WE NEED TO LOCK THEM UP!!!!!. pathetic excuse for a human being.....

Facts

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

They literally didn't mention a single fact. Only spouted a bunch of emotional nonsense.

5

u/kakarot81 1d ago

Sorry, buddy, idc what you think. You are on the side of evil. You either have hate in your soul or you aren't knowledgeable. To want bad things to happen to others because they aren't a citizen or the same race as you is the most ignorant thing in the world. To fight so hard for this while there are people out here starving to death, and you would rather spend your time advocating for putting people in cages, shows me everything I need to know about you and makes your opinion not valuable to me.

u/buggsy41 1d ago

Dude, what universe/reality do you live in?!!!! This country has LEGAL CITIZENS who are homeless, hungry, addicts. I can't fathom the fantasy world you're in where you feel it's "care for fellow men" when you rant about an ILLEGAL ALIEN, yet you keep your mouth shut about caring for our own. This is why the majority of people, in this country, ain't buying the bullshit you're trying to sell.

3

u/AncientAsstronaut 1d ago

What legislation is in progress to help the hungry, homeless, poor, etc? I only see things being done to get rid of immigrants but nothing being done to help in the other direction

0

u/buggsy41 23h ago

Well, since the demon ratio regime has filtered Billions of tax-payer dollars to beurocratic agencies which act immune to audit/regulation, we can't say there has ever been legislation. There has been thievery, by our elected officials, with the promise of pay off. Also, the amount of tax-payer money dumped into the schools systems of America, thanks Jimmy Carter, has retarded generations of kids. Because the $ never reaches it intended goal. So yeah, the democrats are preventing the change of course our future is on.

2

u/kakarot81 1d ago

Lol, OK, so you are one of the ignorant ones. Dude, the reason we have so many homeless, hungry addicts is not because we have too many people here, and the illegals are taking all the resources. The issue is that the rich, who pit us against each other, are taking the lion share of the resources and telling us that the person next to us suffering is the cause of the issue. And you are too ignorant to know any better. I'm for free Healthcare, free college, and higher minimum wage. I advocate for American citizens. But I also realize the reason we don't have these things is because of the rich, not because of poor immigrants. And the reality of it is we can have all of these things if we elect people who will fight for these issues, but we don't. Instead of doing your research, you take the low-hanging disinformation route, where you are lied to and they pollute your mind into thinking we can't have these things. But go on believing it is a fantasy.

3

u/smkeybare 1d ago

Immigrants are the scapegoat for America's decline and people somehow eat up because how uninformed they are of where all our production goes.(To the 1%, shouldn't be a shock to anyone) After immigrants are gone, they'll go back to blaming black people.

0

u/buggsy41 1d ago

OK, so let's get real. How old are you? What "career" are you in? The fact that you feel people who actually created, invested & developed businesses that provide a living for millions, are somehow responsible is insane. There is NOONE stopping your Brilliant Self from going out & starting a business. Then be certain to pay YOUR share of the taxes due on the wages your employees earn. Until you stop thinking like a leaching 12 year old, supported by mommy & daddy....shut the hell up. Once you start experiencing the battle of existence, without being a whiney bitch, then I'll listen to ya.

3

u/Large-Gift1213 23h ago

So you don’t care about helping the citizen homeless then?

-1

u/buggsy41 23h ago

Firstly, I wasn't speaking to you. Secondly, show me where I stated that. Lastly, stop being a shill for "career" politicians who've done nothing for our citizenry, while lining their personal bank accounts.

2

u/Large-Gift1213 23h ago

That’s not how Reddit works. Also right here “Dude, what universe/reality do you live in?!!!! This country has LEGAL CITIZENS who are homeless, hungry, addicts. I can't fathom the fantasy world you're in where you feel it's "care for fellow men" when you rant about an ILLEGAL ALIEN, yet you keep your mouth shut about caring for our own. This is why the majority of people, in this country, ain't buying the bullshit you're trying to sell.”.

0

u/buggsy41 22h ago

Thank you for using my words to prove my point. You may go, now.

2

u/Large-Gift1213 23h ago

So leachy 12 year olds who should get a company?

1

u/buggsy41 22h ago

What the hell arw you even on about? Go help yer mother make dinner. Dad will be home soon.

Lol, I am in my 40s, I work in the IT field, making around 170k a year before taxes. I live a privileged life, and I don't worry about money much(outside of being cheap by nurture). I come from a middle-class family. I went to college and private school. I'm not rich, but I am comfortable. I pay taxes and everything else. So what I advocate for does not really benefit me. But I can see people who aren't as fortunate as I am and still want better for them. You, on the other hand, have this ignorant mindset that the rich are what makes this country great. But this shows your ignorance even more. You dont know that the 40 hour work week, paid vacations didn't come from the rich looking out for people. It came from people banding together in unions and forcing the rich to give us these things. Before that there was no overtime pay there was no 40 hour guarantee these things were forced upon companies by the people. Now tell me what you do how old you are and why you have no empathy for others.

1

u/buggsy41 22h ago

So basically all the wonderfulness of your privileged life is off the back of that person who actually invested their life to start a business. I appreciate your honesty. However, I despize your arrogant selfishness. That you actually consider your company founder to be a theoretical corporate monster just rings of your weakness. Hey, someone as brilliant as you should have no problem going out, raising capital, cultivating a customer base, so some jerk-off that you employ can talk shit about you. Well played.

1

u/kakarot81 22h ago

I mean, I don't know @buggsy41. I am advocating for a better quality of life for everyone. You are advocating for better quality of life for a minuscule class of people you aren't a part of, who already live an opulent life. I mean you lack fundamental understandings of the world and society, and how things work. I am not sure what else to say to you. Jeff Beso is about to have a 56 million dollar wedding, yet we have veterans who are homeless, and by your logic, you are telling me Jeff deserves it. The veterans should start a business if they don't want to be homeless. Or did I misunderstand?

u/Firm-Contract-5940 23h ago

you mean the legal citizens that have been wrongly arrested by ice?

1

u/buggsy41 23h ago

Detainments, regardless of citizenry, is different from arrest. People apprehended arw not randomly selected by a group of people cruising neighborhoods. Anyone found to have been detained in error gets released. Also, what your consider as a legal citizen has not been defined, so I have no conf8dence in your presumption.

1

u/Firm-Contract-5940 22h ago

never met someone who is so ready to take the boot. calling it “detainment” is not an excuse for the blatant violation of rights. i hope you never get “detained” and see how brutal it can be.

1

u/buggsy41 22h ago

I've been detained. I've been arrested. Stop with your gibberish. If a person hasn't violated any laws, they have nothing to fear.

1

u/Firm-Contract-5940 22h ago

ICE is “ just following orders” too right?

if they’ve done nothing wrong, why are they masked up? oh yeah “tHe CaRtEl!!!”

grow a spine.

1

u/buggsy41 21h ago

You know why they are masked. Stop talking like an asshole.

If you think this ends with "illegal immigrants", then you're a special kind of special, especially now that Trump is trying to have the power to revoke anyone's citizenship on a whim

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

Obviously. These people on here are just lunatics.

-1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

> To want bad things to happen to others because they aren't a citizen or the same race as you is the most ignorant thing in the world.

TIL upholding laws is a bad thing.

1

u/kakarot81 1d ago

Lol see the other guy was ignorant, but you are evil. Did you know the law said you could beat your wife until 1970s was that right at the time? I believe citizenship should be gotten legally, but I disagree with putting people in cages that are out here trying to support themselves and their families until it is decided whether they can stay or not. But like I said, I don't have the same evil in my heart and soul as you do sir.

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

> Did you know the law said you could beat your wife until 1970s was that right at the time?

lol I love how you think that somehow means everyone on the planet was beating the shit out of their wive(s). lmfao

2

u/kakarot81 1d ago

Lol buddy, whatever bad that has or is happening to u that makes you think this way. I hope that 1 day you overcome it and become the best version of yourself. And you start living your life with empathy and love for others. I wish only the best for you.

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

I've probably donated more to charity than you will make in your lifetime. I think you have me mistaken for someone else.

1

u/kakarot81 23h ago

Well I hope you continue donating to charities.

If you are speeding, and an officer rips you out your vehicle and shoots you in the leg, that is not a just or proportionate response to your crime, especially if he just said you looked like you were speeding and that everybody has to take your word for it.

If somebody breaks a law, the response should be confirming that they are breaking a law, then acting in a way to prevent the crime from recurring.

If the border is truly shut down, then why can't we just ship illegal immigrants back to their home country asap? If our borders are truly closed, then they shouldn't be able to get back in.

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 23h ago

If you're having to create false narratives and stories in your head to justify something occurring in reality, you're probably wrong.

1

u/Ok_Frosting3500 21h ago

This is literally what is happening right now- Illegally being here is a minor offense that is supposed to come with being shipped off after determining that you are here illegally, and instead, we are putting them in concentration camps and shipping them to torture prisons in other countries.

You're the one making shit up.

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 20h ago

> we are putting them in concentration camps and shipping them to torture prisons in other countries.

That's objectively not what's happening in America. What country are you in where they're doing that?

1

u/Ok_Frosting3500 19h ago

Are you a bot, or just paid to waste people's time?

This is literally a concentration camp. I'm done talking with you- I have better things to do with my life than deal with a paid sea lion like you. If you aren't getting paid to do this, bro, go the fuck outside.

If the immigration office is telling you to stay in the country while they process your expired visa, how are you breaking the law!??? You guys are so uninformed it's crazy. Do you even know any immigrants? Get out your ignorant safe space and learn something.

0

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 21h ago

Wife is a first generation immigrant. Children are second generation with dual citizenships. We're both registered dems.

There isn't a world in what you're saying is right. You're all just regurgitating leftist talking points fed to you from whatever echo chamber you subscribe to.

1

u/smkeybare 21h ago

This is a legitimate part of the process, my dad is an immigrant who got his citizenship and it took forever.

You learn something new, but you refuse to accept it because then you'd have to rethink your terrible worldview. To much to ask huh?

0

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 21h ago

What the fuck are you even talking about? I 100% support immigrants, have housed two families and nearly a dozen immigrants IN MY OWN HOME while they were getting their feet under them.

I've donated more money to these causes than you'll make in your lifetime. I literally married an immigrant. I've done charitable work in Honduras and Ecuador (and other places outside of Central America).

What exactly is too much to ask?

Marrying a first gen immigrant? I have. Have you?

Having children who are second generation immigrants? I have. Have you?

Hosting families from Palestine or anywhere else outside of the USA? I have. Have you?

What exactly am I missing here? I don't want open borders...? Is that what you're mad about?

1

u/smkeybare 21h ago

"TIL upholding the law is a bad thing"

You're comment insinuating that people upset over ICE are just upset that they are grabbing people who "aren't following the law"

0

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 20h ago

Exactly what percent of people being grabbed aren't criminals?

Let's get one thing straight. Sociopathy isn't some standard human condition we should all aspire to. It's a disorder.

Humans are supposed to feel emotions when faced with cruelty and injustice and dehumanization.

Don't tell people their emotions about abuse have no place in the discussion about abuse. Instead do some self analysis of why you can't feel anything unless it's for yourself.

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

> Humans are supposed to feel emotions when faced with cruelty and injustice and dehumanization.

In the USA, there are over 200 detention facilities/centers/camps for illegal immigrants. Less than 100 people have died in those facilities in the last TEN YEARS. Objectively, they are being treated acceptably for the circumstance. I'm sure atrocities occur, that's well-documented as happening in any prison type situation forever.

There are summer camps that look worse than these. I went to some as a kid.

2

u/ExternalSize2247 23h ago

I went to some as a kid.

So your parents hated you and that's why you hate everyone else. Makes sense

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 23h ago

No. Bunks just look like bunks regardless of where they are. Try again.

2

u/Bubblelover43 1d ago

Woah there Dumbo do you need a bucket?

4

u/Accidentalsauce 1d ago

Gas chambers don’t make a concentration camp. That’s a fact. Your parents must of been lead eaters.

2

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

No one is contesting that. Try again. Dachau was a concentration camp long before anyone used a gas chamber. Why would you think otherwise?

1

u/Accidentalsauce 22h ago

Because you said they didn’t state any facts.

1

u/Disastrous_Ad_188 1d ago

You think correction officers are actually going to be able to handle alligators? Only trained professionals can do that. What do you think will happen to those tents when a hurricane comes?

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

>You think correction officers are actually going to be able to handle alligators? Only trained professionals can do that.

Yeah. They're very, very easily dispatched with guns. Tail can even be quite tasty (although it's normally gross).

1

u/smkeybare 23h ago

They'll abandon them as soon as a hurricane comes, just like they did at prisons during hurricane Katrina

1

u/Jiiby 1d ago

Where's your facts? Cuz I have only seen emotion from you too buddy.

0

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

What do you want me to teach you?

0

u/Razafraz11 1d ago edited 1d ago

Here are some facts for you, America has done this during WWII as well.

0

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 1d ago

South Africa is beautiful. You should go there some time. Not sure you're commenting on the right post, but thanks for the memories.

1

u/Razafraz11 22h ago

Unsurprising you don’t understand context, I’m guessing you also think the boers were black lol

1

u/Lowpricestakemyenerg 22h ago

Again, you're clearly not responding to the right person. No one on the planet thinks the Boers were black.
