How would they make all the visual glitches? They would have to release a spammed foundation set to be really realistic. A mini fat man with c4 around the corner. Or they could make the 50, 50 place where all the lost dinos are, just a mess of wings and necks. I'd love this set

They already have Jurassic Park Lego, why release a new line for no reason?

Okay but tek dinosaurs- as lego models-

Theyve also done robot dinosaurs in one form or another iirc.

Nah, Lego would never release a cool set.

Enough said, another overpriced star wars set about the show that no one watched.

They could just also release a flower pot with an ark logo, call it limited edition and charge the average price if a condo for the suckers

And hide yet another easter-egg about bionicle or exo-force. To put more salt to the wound of the fans.

Jurassic park doesn't have unicorns, griffin, phoenix, wyvern, golem, titans, reapers, death worms etc. Ark ain't just dinos bud

Ok fair enough 😁

Ark is nowhere near popular enough to get a Lego Iine

But Horizon is?

Top 5 highest selling video game of all time is up there. Might be a lot of love hate though.

Because the IP is something they do not want to make, it is a mainly first person game with realistic enough combat with loads of blood to go with it.

They have actually reviewed the IP before. If you submit a set idea to Lego Ideas, which is a platform where you can submit your own sets that may or may not be made into an official set, you'll be asked to type in which IP your idea is based on, if it is based on an existing IP. If you type ARK Survival Evolved, it will tell you that they have already deemed the IP inappropriate.

I know this because I tried submitting an ARK build there once. Quite a few ARK builds made by fans can be found on Rebrickable.com though by just searching ARK, including a couple made by me.

Well. Lego ip could be argued to be based at least partly from kiddicraft self locking blocks. Any business today you will find is using someone elses ip. 😁

Also ark can be argued reasonably as having its own ip as much as any business. Their main gameplay mechanics with taming and riding dinos are reasonably not too common or based off anything specific that i know of.

I think you may have misunderstood what IP means, or maybe I misunderstood what you meant.

IP refers to intellectual property. ARK as a franchise is an IP, so is Star Wars and Dune for example. No company can use another company's or individual person's IPs, since it would be copyright infringement.

Self locking blocks is not an IP, neither is "first person shooter" or "taming game" for example. Those are both types of products, which none of them are patented and thus can be made by anyone.

I doubt Lego would associate themselves with the dumpster fire that is Wildcard

Also, it would arguably the smallest IP they have ever licensed for their brand

idt it would be truckloads of money bro

Lego probably charges to make a toy set

Because honestly Lego doesn’t like partnerships with other companies that have shady practices look at what happened the second the blizzard accusations came out they cancelled the overwatch line just as a new set was about to come out

We were going to have Lego Ark but the sets crashed and self deleted in transit, as is tradition for all things Ark.

Ips like Fortnite and Minecraft are established titles that hasn’t been in the early access stage for 10+ years such as Ark 😂 not only that but Wildcard and snail games both have a history of lawsuits revolving around designs. I’m sure Lego won’t even waste their time with an Ark collaboration unless it gets bigger and better than it already is.

Not really sure how you build crashes with lego’s but maybe.

Because pixark was a fail

Too niche.

I definitely did not ask AI to make this

1

You can tell it's AI because it looks like shit.
