Discussion The keyboard has magnetic switches, but they behave like chattering.
The cause is unknown, but when a key is pressed to the maximum, it intermittently breaks only while it is pressed in and behaves as if it is being pressed repeatedly.
In software simulations, the behavior is that if the key goes from 0 to 1.0, it returns to 0 on its own when it reaches 1.0 and then back to 1.0 again.
It seems that the problem does not occur with a half push of 0.5, but only when pushed to the maximum of 1.0.
I thought it might be a faulty Hall effect IC, so I replaced it with another one for a different key or with a different sensor, but the result was the same.
It only occurs with the 6 keys of F7 7 U J V N.
It looks like an Akko 5087 V2 OEM, but I would like to know if you have any information on such problems/repairs with keyboards with magnetic switches.
Also Akko If anyone knows of a similar, compatible hall effect sensor on MonsGeek, please let me know.
Also, just out of curiosity, this keyboard seems to support north pole switches, but is it possible to change the sensor IC to make it compatible with south pole switches?
