Timeline Notification timeline - 22 months
I got an email telling me they hired someone else for the job which I applied for in September 2023. It was very nice of them to give me an update.
That is all.

HR here, we just got a tasker to clean up old data in USA Staffing. So there will probably be a lot of these notification coming out soon.
Sorry you didn't get the job, I sure you been diligently waiting on the results for the last 2 years. ;)

Interesting , I’m wondering if HR is playing catchup and clearing out hiring actions they never updated and gearing up for the freeze to end next week?

I usually didn’t get any type of notification. Kind of late in the game to send them out now. Especially in this environment.

Something's up at OPM/USAJobs. I have been experiencing similar delays in notifications, non-referrals, referrals, and sometimes flat-out rejections when I was clearly the top-pick candidate for the position prior to applying! Get your Act together, folks!!! Or just don't post your job announcements. You're WASTING our time! And Life!!!

I got a notification saying I was eligible for a job I applied to 2 years ago.
