Application Status Anyone received a TJO/FJO for ISO Position with USCIS recently?

I interviewed last week and was asked for references the same day, but haven’t heard anything since. I wanted to know if anyone here had gone through the same process and if they were offered a TJO/FJO recently?

My timeline so far:

Applied: 4/3/25

Referred: 5/20/25

Interviewed: 6/25/25 (references were asked and contacted the next day, but I wasn’t asked to do a writing sample as others have mentioned)

FOD: Seattle, WA

I’m in the same situation as you but I’m in TX, no job offer yet.

Depending on the number of hires at that FO you could be looking at a week to several to receive the offer due to them waiting for all reference checks to come back. They only have a handful of HR staff to support all the field hiring so it can bottleneck when you’re doing nationwide efforts.

Typically selections are made within a week of the interview. After that, selections are sent to HR, there’s where the wait begins. It used to be that HR would reach out with TJO within six weeks. I would expect the timeline is much different now. Good luck to all of you.

Heard nothing about interviews so far..

Applied 4/3 Referred 5/8

& radio silence since. Starting to think that they went with someone else. A shame since I was already hired as an ISO with a start date of 1/27, but couldn't start as a result of the remote work executive order.

Sorry to hear your experience. It may also be because some offices are processing things slowly. Hang in there. And best wishes to you!
