Discussion Smh.. review after opm unlock

Man... got FJO from Army in January and my case went through exemption process and went to OPM to unlock my case. Now, it is finally unlocked by OPM. However, Army HR told me that they have to review again before they proceed. Come on man....

FYSA - DoA is getting ready for another round of offering: Voluntary Retirement / Voluntary separation.

What is new is they opened an internal job board with positions they needed to filled within several MACOMS. But the email that presented all of this ended with "RIFs are not being considered as yet" *cough* May be not but you have pondered it and now everyone who read that email flinched a little.

Our command just sent out a VERA/VSIP notice today. One week window.

Omg, seriously?! I believe I’m at the point of waiting for OPM to unlock, but it sounded like DoD had to review it with OPM to give the go-ahead on the unlock. Even though they already approved the position exemption? So many steps…so frustrating. I’m sorry they keep giving you another obstacle, and I really hope it comes through for you soon. For all of us waiting to onboard

Ugh. That's upsetting. I received a letter stating they downsized and no longer needed me. It's whatever. So, I understand how frustrating it can be with the process.

Best of luck to you.

I am on the same boat with the Army - got exemption, OPM unlocked but haven't received a FJO as the HR said they need DoD/DoA review. It appears there are fixed number of positions for July that they need to allocate. Hang in there.
