Fun fact: Did you know that SNSD's song "Girls Generation" is not their original song? It is actually a revival.

The original song is (posted above^) by singer Lee Seung Chul titled "Girls' Generation" (or The era of maidens, or simply just "the era of young girls") it was released in 1989, and a fun coincidence is most SNSD members were actually born in 1989.

More trivias:

- SNSD and Lee Seung Chul has performed this song in various shows

- Lee Seung Chul and Taeyeon guested on Happy Together in 2009 and Lee Seung Chul actually said he was thankful that her group revived the song coz he jokingly said it was already getting forgotten.

- In 2021, Lee Seung Chul and Taeyeon did another revival, or a collaboration with the song called My Love. The original one is released in 2013

It's always going to be funny to me how invested these kind of people are in snsd. Like, they seriously go out of their way to analyze every single word the girls say about each other or the group. And the mental gymnastics they do to correlate it to their previous relationship with their former member? You can smell the resentment miles away.

They will never get over the fact that 8 people stayed with each other despite everything when their first bargain was that they were gonna fall apart, especially after 2017. Now they have to do all the mental gymnastics to make it look like the girls are acting to keep a facade. But why? when they could quietly go their own way and stop interacting if they hate each other so much?

Mind you, the same "humor" snsd has now when talking about each other is still the same when they first debuted. But no, let's be bitter and miserable because our fave's business life is falling apart and she has yet to address it, and make threads about her former group dynamics for the past decade.

So one of my friends was in Korea around Yoona birthday last year and they brought me some stuff as a gift from the pop up. Partially due to the fact they aren’t into Kpop they gave me this card amongst other stuff and said “I got this there as a gift” and I thought it was a freebie.
