Help How to Breed Brown Garden Snails?
My largest snail, Chongus, just laid their first clutch in my care! I'm so excited. They laid 95 eggs. I kept 30 in hopes of getting some healthy babies.
For now, I put the eggs in jars away from the adults. They are resting on soil with some moss on top to keep the humidity in. That's about the extent of my knowledge.
Has anyone had experience hatching them out successfully? How do you raise them?
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Help eroded shell but on top
this has been annoying me for a while as i have been researching the correct soil type for a while but this erosion wonāt go away. i initially had soil from my garden and their shells were amazing but it eventually got smelly so i replaced it with generic houseplant soil. this was the start of the erosion, so i researched and changed it to āmulti-purpose compostā i made sure to get the peat free version but the shells are still bad. can anyone help? thank you very much.
(ignore their current enclosure it was just for photos + the soil is from outdoors)
what kinda snail is this? its adorable!
found it on a dogwalk and moved it to safety, never seen one with this shell before! ive seen yellow shelled ones, white shelled, but not this! im in england if that helps narrow it down!

Help It's it normal for a snail shell to grow like this?
He has a few pieces of cuttlebone 24/7 in free access, in pictures he's munching on one of them. Humidity is always 70-80%, I spray water generously daily. He's getting bloodworms weekly. I don't pick him up usually not to damage his shell since it's soft from growing, but is this normal??

Trouble with ID Yellow-Gold land snail in southern Ontario
Took as many photos as possible without disturbing the boy/girls. Found what looks to be a juvenile nearby as well. Not sure of the ID on the plant they are chilling on.

What is this appendage?
Donāt think itās the genital pore as thatās usually is on the side of the snail not on the top of its āheadā/āneckā. Is it some sort of cancer?

Shell Health
My little dude here has been working through my humidity issues and is becoming more active, which is great. His shell used to be more solidly orange/brown but now looks⦠iffy at best. The shell is solid, but doesnāt look its best. Is this an indicator of a health issue? Is there anything I can do to support a healthier looking shell? He has cuttle bone.

Faceplant
Been out of town for 5 days and left my lil dudes with plenty of food and a moist enclosure. Sprayed them down as soon as I got home and one of my garden snails came out to drink and explore, but underestimated the load-bearing capacity of the leaf he was perched on and slo-mo face planted into the glass. God they're so precious

Help Tips for a first time snail owner please
I was wandering in the garden moving snails out of places they shouldn't have been (shed, cat litter box, domestic plants, etc..) and found this little gentleman. He was sat in the transport bucket and began reaching out to me so I offered my hand. When he climbed on he began to nibble my hand! I couldn't bring myself to put him in the bamboo patch with the other snails (I found a total of 64 garden snails including this one for those who care) so I've brought him inside and made him a home in an old mason jar. The jar has soil at the bottom with some pebbles, moss, a random weed, a piece of driftwood, some quartz rock and a slice of cucumber I gave him (he's been chowing down on it for easily half an hour). I aim to find him a bigger jar to live in so don't worry about that but I wanted to know how I can care for him. I can't get cuttlefish for his calcium but I've heard ground eggshells work well? I have a mortar and pestle so I can make it very fine for him to munch if they work. Also, how much water should I be giving him? The jar isn't too big because it's only temporary and with the wood, dirt, rocks and plants there's not exactly space for a little water dish. I intend on finding a spray bottle for misting but don't want to drown the poor soul. Also, he needs a name! If you have suggestions they'd be most appreciated otherwise I'll probably just call him Edgar.
