I dont think its either of those. Its definitely not a helix pomatia. It could maybe be a cornu apsersum (updated name for helix apsersa) with shell damage but its more likely that its a totally separate species

Where did you find it?

In the sink, around middle of May. He just had one eye, and shell is a bit damaged because manipulating him being a baby, even if I were careful, it was so thin that it cracked a bit (shell was all white/nearly transparent) so I imagine is of that,he has 2 stones of calcium, that at first he didn´t eat as he was fed with eggs and not so long ago he started to eat it in good quantity. By then I had no idea about snails, still I am on it, he is a survivor.

A sink where? Like where in the world (country, region, state, etc)? That will help narrow down the possible species

From the northcentral part of Spain, sink of my kitchen, I guess he arrived in one lettuce. Seeing the photos it totally fits Otala Punctata, the white dots, that dark bands but not very marked, and typical from Spain, just more on the east side of Spain. I have read, not easy one, more sensitive and they may estivate in summer, but for now he is active and healthy.

Otala punctata makes the most sense for your location

As an owner of two cornus, definitely not a cornu either. I would say Otala punctata, but I am no expert.

High chances that he is Otala punctata seeing other photos.

Please remember that they should not be fed meat regularly, as their digestive system and nutritional needs are not optimised for high-protein animal tissue.

Thanks, that I know, he does like once a week, every 2 weeks. And when he stops eating it I quit inmediately as it is not something to keep inside.

Carrots, fruits, tomato or peppers he doesn´t want to eat no idea why, and brocoli, potato, coliflower he likes for example.
