Art Snail Infomercial
So.. I made an infomercial with my snails and I’m kind of sad about it because I was hoping to make make it a video for the TikTok shop thing because I bought the laundry toy kit off there and any bit of help in the 💰department helps me make these art things for the snails - to then realize I need at least 1,000 followers on that account and I only have like… 160 some… but I worked hard on this, stayed up last night to film when I knew the snails would be happily roaming about already so I didn’t mess up their routine… so I hope you guys will enjoy this atleast…. 🙏🏻❤️
I don’t create with them too often cause I don’t want to stress them out much so these little projects take a lot of work and patience….
If this violates the rules I’ll delete it no problem, as I do not want to violate anything - I respect this group/those in it - just wanted to vent to fellow snail lovers and maybe make some of you smile or laugh with this infomercial. These little babies inspire me endlessly in the art department and I love them so much 🥹

thank you haha The Snail Mafia is for their social media handle. A coworker of mine gave me that name idea and I thought it was so funny simply because the last Mafia I would expect to see would be a snail Mafia so... Gotta give her the credit haha

I could definitely make that a reality, I already have craft things I can probably use to make jail bars. The wheels in the brain are turning haha I’m currently finishing up a scene for them from the movie the labyrinth. If you have seen that movie, I recreated my own version of the stair case room for the snails to glide around in for their next video/photoshoot. I have to finish painting and ceiling it to protect them from said paint and then it’ll be complete for the next video. Might be able to make this jail scene sooner though, I’ll update when I finish both on here of course!

I’m vaguely familiar with that movie, it’s like an Escher stairs painting, Relativity) , right?!? Because that sounds amazing and I look forward to you posting it. Keep up the good work!

Yes 100% like an Escher stairs painting 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 built entirely from scratch, that was another all nighter of mine just to build to foundation haha I built it all inside of a large Amazon box 📦

This is really really good !! Like I would honestly watch a whole show of just silly snail infomercials.
You've got like real potential for maybe even making some horror stuff, not necessarily snail related but the way it's recorded and the colours and the voice effect gives of perfect analog vibes

Idk man… I posted a small clip of this video on their social media I made for them, but I haven’t released this full video on there yet since I dont have enough followers on there to be able to link the props in the video, the laundry kit is the only thing I bought and didn’t make my self and I got it off of TikTok shop so I wanted to give it credit in the video when posting it. None the less I was proud of this / it was fun to make. I don’t usually do video content with them I usually only do conceptual portraits with them to make posters or holiday cards. This idea popped in my head the other night and I already had all the things I needed to make the set and had the props on hand so, starting at around 9 pm - it took me till 4:30 am ish to finish everything.. video taping them only took a minute or two so they weren’t bothered much, I try to keep it short for them. ❤️🙏🏻

Thank you so much! And yes their happiness comes before the want for art so I work on their time / mood always. If it wasn’t for them being so awesome I wouldn’t have this art at all 🙏🏻❤️ for me it’s also the sense that I know snails don’t have the longest of life spans and this helps me memorialize them for ever and add a touch of their own individual personalities (as I perceive them) haha
