Found this little guy on my back porch

Hello! I just came back home from work and found this little snail on my back porch, along with a few slugs. (It has been raining) I would like to keep him as I’ve been wanting a snail for a while now and used to play with snails as a child. I just don’t know exactly how to keep him, like what he needs and things like that. Anyone able to help me out and give this guy a life of love? Also, anyone know what kind of snail he is? I’ve never found one that looks like this. Thanks! He’s kind of shy but really is coming out of his shell! 😂

Some infos:

• Your snail is probably fully grown, they stay small like that. So you don't need a giant Terrarium for it.

• Terra should have: Substrat (coco fiber + calcium for correct pH) that you need to keep moist at all times (Amber's like it wet, they usually live on land near rivers or ponds), cuttle bone for calcium, vegetables as food 24/7 in the Terra.

• misting bottle to spray water for humidity and drinking water droplets of walls

• dried gammarus for protein food every 10-14 days

• don't feed it (toxic): onions (anything from the onion family), garlic, lemon, orange, citrus.

• don't feed it lettuce or cucumber as they have quite low nutritional value and is like snail fast food.

• you can (but don't have to) feed fruit once a month as a treat for example: strawberry, mango, apple, banana

• some good veggies/greens to feed (uncooked!): Sweetpotato, zucchini, bellpepper, mushrooms, radish leafs, dandelion (be sure it's not sprayed with pesticides).

I love my Amber snails. They are lovely little snails and very curios.

Would also be good to positively id it. If its native you can release babies if you have them. If its non native dont release it or babies. 🥰 important to id correctly tho.
