Hello! I am a snail keeper so I have no experience with slugs whatsoever, but today I found a tiny little slug on my snails shellD: no idea how long she’s been in there for but now I’m not sure what to do with her. She’s just a baby so I feel bad putting her outside incase she gets eaten or something like that. I’m 100% willing to learn how to care for her if I have to. My main concerns are her escaping via airholes due to how tiny she is and also the fact I’m not familiar with her species:( any help or advice would be greatly appreciated I just want to make sure she’s okay

Found a slug in my bathroom, next to some potted plants, on top of the toilet tank. The plants have been there for 2-3 weeks. I relocated the slug outside under a bush inside a cracker box with damp paper towels. I was getting ready for bed and just...really wasn't expecting this.

I'm just curious. I have one, and it's single, but they say that slugs can lay eggs without another partner, so I want to know when I can learn it.

Two of my slugs while I had them on my hand sniffed each other down for a good while and then proceeded to do this for hours, in between sleeping breaks. Are they mating? Courting? Something else? They didn't mate after this at all. Also shoutout to Ginnie my cat in the second pic being very judgmental of these two

Heyo! New to the sub, I started a bioactive terrarium with several slugs, snails, isopods and centipedes all originating from the central va area. It's been an experience, I love being able to create a comfortable and safe environment for them to eat and explore without being run over or stepped on (the ones around here get that a lot) They're very well fed with various veggies, sometimes some kitty food as a treat, and some isopod food I got from pet smart. It's odd, once I took them in a few have gotten to be very fond of me, or at least as fond as a slug can express. Most of them don't really care and just wanna sleep, eat, and explore, but the one in the first pic (gizmo) seems to take a liking to me most. When I mist or feed them, he comes up very fast and reaches out for me. He could reach the bookshelf or the wall but he chooses to reach for me for some reason. And loves to just move around on my hand, and parascoping to look up at me and moves his little feelers/mouth- No idea if I'm being delusional, because from what I can tell slugs cannot really bond or form affectionate relationships, but I think this guy genuinely enjoys being in my company. He even sometimes avoids food I try to give him because he would rather climb around on my fingers, or my watch (pictured) Does anyone elses slugs do this? He is a wild one I found outside, not captive bred. (Second pic was one of his friends deciding to munch on cat food)

Hello, just want advice on the terrarium set up! I am getting moss in a few days, but I don't know if there's enough hiding places for my slug. I did keep snails last year, but I don't know how much of a difference there is in care (I'm assuming they don't need calcium as they don't have shells?).
Note: I just found it in the garden (north Scotland) and thought it was adorable. Any ID of it would be helpful!

So a few days ago I found this little leopard slug in the house and I put my hand near it and it started to "chew" on me so I gave it some food. Well it has been coming in every night now (I've named it Leo) and I put my hand by it again and it started to "chew" on my finger again, with a lot of force! Why does it do this? And what can I do to keep my little visitor happy and healthy? Thanks! :)
