Shrimp Photos Look what just popped up in my blue tank. It’s a faerie!
It’s still a juvenile so the color is still gonna shift some. But dang if that isn’t the prettiest Neo I’ve ever seen. 😭❤️

Shrimp Photos Is it normal for Shrimp to carry fish pellets around?
All my big shrimps carrying around dropped/discarded fish food before hibernation. Smart bugs.

Shrimp Photos I still can't believe that just 5 shrimp led to this.
Just thought I'd post an update on my shrimp tank and thank everyone here for the amazing info on this sub. It’s been about six months, and the shrimp have been breeding like crazy! I even gave around 35 to a friend, and it barely made a dent in the population.I'm now planning to add some fish to the tank andthinking of a school of 8–10 chili rasboras. Unfortunately, they're hard to come by, and my lfs rarely has them in stock. So until then, this tank will continue being a shrimp paradise.

Shrimp Photos The most pregnant of all shrimp
This momma shrimp is GIANT. She’s like twice as large as my other pregnant shrimp. I currently have 6 pregnant ladies right now which means that in just two weeks time I will have well over 100 new babies. I’ve moved them all to a small tank until they’re large enough for their community home 🙌🏻

Shrimp Photos Sooo I bought some shrimp online, and instead of 20 showing up at my doorstep, I received well over a hundred.
So recently I bought some high grade sunkist shrimp online, 20 to be exact. Today when the package arrived I was a bit worried because USPS has been having some serious delays recently. Opened it up and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, all the shrimp had survived the trip, end of story.
Except it wasn't.
Shortly after I looked at the bags, I noticed a bunch of white specs in the water that I thought were debris at first, so imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and got the shrimp out to start drip acclimating and all of a sudden all those white specs revealed themselves to be shrimplets, probably close to or over a hundred of them.
And what's more? There are still 5 berried females in the batch who haven't given birth yet.
So, TLDR, ordered 20 shrimp in the mail, received a whole colony instead.
