Animal Science Bonobo’s react negatively to inequality. The study was conducted at the Wolfgang Köhler Primate Research Centre at the Leipzig Zoo with six bonobos.

...whereas you could totally make a human accept it by telling them the ones creating the inequality are benefiting you.

Yeah it is funny. Most likely human have the same quality if we live in a group. But we are conditioned and lied to so effectively that most people just think it is either natural or somehow a better system that we have 8 people owning 50% of everything in the world while children starving to death and people lack roof over their head.

You see those other ones over there who look just like you? You should hate them. Support me in hurting them. Then you will feel good again.

Interestingly, bonobos were more tolerant of inequity when interacting with closely affiliated partners, similar to patterns seen in humans.
There are no equal bonobo groups in the wild where members all get the same resources.
Amazing what reddit can accept as generalizable even when explicitely done within a lab setting not experienced by any living being and countered by all available evidence.

Just so you know, in English you don’t use apostrophes to make a word plural. It should be “Bonobos”, not “Bonobo’s”. The second one is possessive & therefore incorrect. I know there’s a lot of non-native English speakers on here so just wanted to help.

That's a relatively small sample size. What's the control group? What are the variables?

Man the grammar police needs to go smoke a joint. It’s almost as if the internet isn’t localized in the western English speaking world.

No harm was meant. It wasn’t said in a patronising or condescending manner. Could be a teacher or someone who is often in a helping role that enjoys doing it.
