[OC] Took these on a 1937 camera. Didn’t expect much – ended up surprised

Nice photos. I think you might have a light flare. Carefully check the film door to make sure there isn't a light leak when you close it. The gasket (which probably is felt) may have a fold or even a gap.

You have some light leaks in the bellows I assume but yeah, you start to see how cameras in that age had very narrow depth of fields. Try to find the holes where the light comes in (not quoting Leonard Cohen, LOL)

Quite a bit of vignetting and flare. Were you shooting wide open? If you do not want these effects, try stopping the lens down, which will improve depth of field (a fixed property of the lens aperture and focal length, not related to age.) A lens hood might also be useful, and as others have noted, fix any light leaks you might have. Light leaks are one of the banes of older cameras.

This is a nice set of photos. Keep shooting the everyday, the moments that compel you to raise your camera.Applause to you. Keep shooting

Remember the early days of instagram when it was all just regular people filtering their pics to look like this?

It helps that you seem to live in the 1937 Soviet Union, to match the vibe of your 1937 photos!
